Stefan Storm from the Sound of Arrows, could be a good producer for the next album. He just produced the brilliant long awaited new Annie single, American Cars

BORING AF.

Bring on some new and young folks that haven't been part of the game for AGES!

Re: Hey, Super - that's a really good album

Electric is their best album since Nightlife and all records that came out in the 90s are decent albums.

I love to read how different the appreciation of PSB records is. :)

Re: Hey, Super - that's a really good album

To cut a long story short, in spite of individual tracks that are pretty good it's still their weakest album to date.

Thank God, Call Me By Your Name is utter tosh, not sure why people see it as this ultimate gay romance movie.
Lel. Everything about that movie, literally everything, is complete perfection.

Well, you simply lack sophistication that allows you to enjoy such perfection.

It’s what everyone is doing right now
And this is why the Boys won't do it. Because, they never do what others do..

What a pity
Considering all the stuff they've done from 2006 onwards I'd say that it's a principle long gone now...

Re: Is now the time for MCMLXXXIX?

Right, people are mixing up information here. It's Release that's never been released as it's considered too dark. It's particularly sad that there is no Release concert film as the setlist was excellent and new, guitar-led versions of songs such as Love comes quickly or A red letter day are outstan...

Jesus Christ. It's hopeless. I'm giving up. I don't feel any power or motivation to even start discussing the matter with you, nickname. You ignore and probably do not understand what I told you. Just fyi: I don't give a damn about all "arguments" you mentioned as you don't talk with me, you're lead...

Re: Review: the most common thought from a non PSB fan about the PSB discography

Also, it clearly doesn't matter how many DJs could write and produce a song like Wedding in Berlin. Fact is, only few do with such success over such a long period of time. Also, in terms of art as such, there's probably many people who could practically do what Beuys, For example, did. But it's his ...

Re: Review: the most common thought from a non PSB fan about the PSB discography

Except for the orange lego cover all sleeve designs/artworks of the Bilingual era are way more creative and more interesting to look at. Just saying. In terms of graphic design, they're even more sophisticated. Your problem, dear Nickname, is that you compare everything to Very/the big hits and beca...

Re: Review: the most common thought from a non PSB fan about the PSB discography

I stopped watching after a couple of minutes. The long introduction is weird. The way he formulates is not on point. I don't think he's a front of camera guy and ultimately I felt uncomfortable watching the video. Just being honest here. Anyway, people disliking/moaning about Wedding in Berlin certa...

Kornel kovacs who remixed Twenty Something, his album is brilliant

or real lies could be interesting
Everything RL have done up to now is bloody excellent. So that would be an interesting choice, too.

Re: Videography

The age of MTV is over, and so is the age of lush music videos. But they've made some nice lyrics videos for their last songs. On social media is a cleverly edited animation and might be one of my favourite PSB videos, despite being not really a "real" music video. That surely explain why The Weekn...

Re: Bring him back - I know who I want to produce the next album

Bit suprising Roosevelt and Coma aren't a big issue on this board as, especially in combination, they produce a sound one would expect from PSB in 2020. They should clearly be involved in any further realisation of a PSB record.
