Re: Recording of DJ Culture and Was It Worth It?
the CD single with Neil prominent at the keys before a bank of electronics was a mightily cool image to me. Neil playing the synth, not Chris. Emphasizing Neil's direction, Chris stands back. With Futura Bold as a cool font. Yeah, that was cool then. Probably my favourite sleeve, for that reason. S...

Re: It Couldn't Happen Here (remastered) on YOUTUBE
There's been too much abusive language and tone on the forum lately. It's not gone unnoticed and people have and will find themselves taking a forum holiday if it continues.
Thank you.

Re: It’s A Sin - Years & Years cover
A little bit more consideration and empathy is required than has been shown discussing 'It's a sin' topics here, I feel. We don't want any forum members to feel disrespected or have their enjoyment of the forum spoilt by intolerance. We really don't want to have to wade in, but if more consideration...

Re: Happy new year
Yes, the UK. A country I'm embarrassed to be part of these days. 50,000 new Covid cases yesterday and 981 deaths. Shocking, shameful and terribly sad. I'm booked to see A-ha again. Already re-arranged to May from the original date of November. I can see the possibility of another re-arrangement give...

Happy new year
Really hoping that 2021 marks the start of the end of Covid-19, as (in this arsehole-run country, certainly) we're back to it being pretty much as bad as it ever was. It's boring, tiring and a constant worry on so many levels. Here's to a much better 2021. Fingers crossed! Happy new year! :) StevePSB

Re: If PSB top 5, who are other 4?
Electronic weren't exactly prolific, but lasted 10 years. I'd class that as 'legit'.
Definitely in my top 5 of all time and have been since I first heard their their first album.

Re: When you stop liking the music as much
I did enjoy making FLAC files from all my albums and singles in the 6 months I had off work from April to September. It wasn't all knock out stuff (indeed, a small proportion is truly terrible), but it was a reminder of some of the brilliant B sides and some great mixes spanning their entire career ...

Re: When you stop liking the music as much
Although to me it doesn't feel as long as it obviously has been, I've clearly been on the rollercoaster a long, long time. I don't think PSB really put a foot wrong prior to and including 'Behaviour'. 'Behaviour' marked the peak for me. It was grown up electronic music and as I have said before, it'...

Re: CD with demos of "Actually"
"something just casual and functional" (which internal reference CDs indeed would be, unlike promos) would not need printing on the discs at all — it would be just generic CDRs with marker writing on them like this Bilingual internal reference. I've not been taking an awful lot of notice ...
