Re: Dreamworld: The Greatest Hits Live At The Royal Arena Copenhagen
Hi everyone, I have a few questions about the Dreamland concert we all saw at the cinema. I honestly enjoyed it and would sure recommend it as both of the boys still have their musical talents. I will ask the questions and give a little reason underneath as to why I am asking each one. Is the Dreaml...

Re: Dreamworld: The Greatest Hits Live At The Royal Arena Copenhagen
It is certainly a good show. Well worth the price of admission. I saw it in Australia.
I do have a few question about the show though.
I guess I should wait till everyone had seen it as some of my questions are about the set list.

Actually album tracks - do you actually like them?
I think we all agree the singles from Actually were great songs. Some of their best work. A big reason of why so many people really like Actually. However . . . do people really like the non singles (the album tracks)? Do people really like Shopping, Hit Music, I Want To Wake Up and the rest? I am a...

Pet Shop Boys Music before you became a fan
First up, I apologise to everyone here who grew up with Opportunities, West End Girls and Please. There is no PSB music before that so this whole post does not apply to you. For everyone else lets discuss this. Can you think back to the first Pet Shop Boys songs you heard. The ones recently released...

KDX video - My thoughts on what inspired it
Geowayne says the possible inspiration for the video is possible the arcade game Hang On. My thoughts are, considering that One Thing Leads To Another is based on Super Mario Bros on the NES . . . I feel KDX 125 might have been inspired by the NES game Mach Rider. Here is a little footage of the sol...

Re: Left to my own Devices vs Being Boring
In my opinion: The Introspective version of Left, I really don't like that at all. That's off the table in all discussions. The PopArt/video version on the other hand is not that bad. I could learn to like the track a lot. Though I think the opportunity fo have Chris talk in the song is a missed opp...

Re: Actually vs Introspective, choose the best one
These are two of my least favourite PSB albums. However I like Introspective the least of these two so I voted for the other - Actually.

Re: CD + Graphics
There were quite a few in the second half of 90s and early 00s. Some CD singles were "enhanced" — they included a data track along with normal audio tracks. These would include promo video, photos, low-bitrate audio files of the audio tracks etc. Off the top of my head: Before (US CD) and...

CD + Graphics
Did any of the older PSB CD releases have graphics on the CD? As in were they CD + Graphics compatable? Players like the CD-i and others could play these embeded low resolution graphics along with the audio as it was playing. This was a thing in the late 80's and early 90's. Also before you ask, man...

For Sale - Monkey Business - Single - CD
For Sale - Monkey Business - Single - CD Still shrink-wrapped I ordered one for myself and a week later a second one showed up at my door. Both from the PSB store. I don't think I ordered a second one, I don't need two of them, so the 2nd one is up for sale. I'm willing to sell it or trade it for an...

Re: The PSB produced songs during the Stuart Price Era - Your opinions?
I have a list of what I think is every PSB produced song during the Stuart Price Era. If I've missed any please let me know and I'll add them in. The whole A man from the future and Musik are missing. So are the new songs from My beautiful Laundrette (except for No boundaries ). Thanks. I added the...

Re: How could the imperial phase have been prolonged
Neil expecting Domino Dancing to be a huge hit is a little arrogant honestly. It's no where near the quality of rest of the hits in the imperial phase. They should have just released Always on My Mind as a single and then what? Introspective and Behaviour are not albums that feel like they'd be pote...
