Re: Spinning vinyl

If I were to post this I'd present it as "hey, the official site has posted a Youtube playlist of PSB audio tracks seemly recorded from vinyl. Nothing is new or exclusive but check it out" I suppose I should be thankful anything more than a link was posted. Anyway I'm at a loss for the purpose of th...

Re: Fundamental Instrumental leaked

Better than releasing instrumentals is releasing STEMS. STEMS would be amazing for fan remixers, and for us fans it'd mean we get to listen to instrumental or acapella. I like both. Juno download do albums in STEMS format, they released New Order's Complete Music (extended version of Music Complete...

Re: PSB with Electronic (Live @ Dodgers Stadium 08.04.90)

it's been mentioned here before.
by the way, there's a youtube thread pinned.

Getting Away sounds great live doesn't it though. they ought to do it in the Unity tour. (get any old guitarist for Marr's part)

Re: PSB wants you to create your dance rutine with video of MB

I'm surprised to see comments on the dance moves. Surely the most dedicated fans, i.e. the members of this forum would already be familiar with the moves from seeing the various performances of the song as well as the music video. I'm about as much of a dancer as Neil, so I have no plans on particip...

Re: Fundamental Instrumental leaked

Really a lovely experience to listen to the album. OP isn't kidding there are a lot of details that go missing in the final mix with vocals. Maybe we still hear them, but it's more unconscious and for the purpose of adding texture to the sound. By the way I checked my private messages. https://www.q...

Re: Fundamental Instrumental leaked

Original thread is in the collector's page. https://www.petshopboys-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=35361 Right, but that still doesn't explain why CDRs of the other albums haven't been for sale like that. Because the remaster guys got excited just about Fundamental and burned it only? Yep, we may n...

Re: Fundamental Instrumental leaked

apparently the instrumentals were created during the mastering process for Fundamental's Further Listening. So it's not after 15 years, but after 1 or 2. If that was the case, why only Fundamental then? Because someone close to the leak source was a big fan of it and wanted just it to begin with? I...

Re: Fundamental Instrumental leaked

F***, did someone actually leak it? That's amazing if so. I remember reading about this album in another thread, apparently the instrumentals were created during the mastering process for Fundamental's Further Listening. So it's not after 15 years, but after 1 or 2. "I would love they release all th...

Re: Is now the time for MCMLXXXIX?

In my opinion, they should remaster, and re-edit all of the live performances before Inner Sanctum and release them as a collection. Remaster both the film/picture quality, and re-master the sound. They can take creative liberties to make it sound better than the originals, asuming sound was capture...

Re: Just listened to Relentless - it's not very good

Haha, not very good? I disagree. I quite enjoy it. I was about to write point by point what I like about each song, but I don't need to justify myself plus it looks a bit ridiculous describing the sounds of each part of the song and describing why they fit PSB's style and why I like them. I think th...

New Boys is pure early '80s PSB. Wouldn't sound out of place on Alternative disc one.
Except for the modern hip hop/trap part at the end.
No music from the 80's sounds like that. I doubt even anything before 2010 has those gangster rap beats.

Re: There's still hope for Neil

For some reason I find that music video very difficult to watch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LcouA_oWsnU I've never heard of Captain Tom Moore, but there's clearly someone else signing in the song so I don't know what involvement the man has. Also it's a bit insulting to compared this 100 year o...

Re: Videography

What Have I Done To Deserve This? I love, the classy tuxedos and the show girls. I like the demeanour of Neil and Chris, same in So Hard though the video isn't as entertaining. London is really nice too, that real life capture of London and seeing Neil and Chris busking in a fairly humble way. Subur...
