Re: Very rare performance

The crowd dancing looks far-fetched. Surely Being boring is all but a dance record, isn't it? Looks like as if they sort of knew since it was PSB the track must be another stomper continuing their imperial era so let's dance! But the track was a completely different beast, and so the dance turned ou...

Re: Electric Show on DVD..???

This is basic internet forum etiquette, nothing to do with trendy social media. https://en.scratch-wiki.info/wiki/Necropost Been this way since at least the early 00's, before social media. It's a big faux pas. I've been on forums since 2000 and indeed have come across members who get annoyed when ...

Go away all you ancient thread bumpers.
Go away all you forum thread ageists to the likes of Twitter to follow their herdy trends and trendy flocks.

Here we will keep bringing threads to the top whenever we have something to say in them, regardless of when they were last time in sight.

It's also part of the "Somewhere" music video.
Oh really. I admit I never could force myself to watch the Somewhere video from A to Z. Precisely because I've instead watched the Savoy DVD from A to Z several times.

Re: Live performances of Chris in past and now.

Anyone who intends to defend a dissertation on Chris must pay attention to the Savoy documentary (1997) released on DVD. Strangely I can't find it on Youtube now. Here is a very Chrissy moment from there at 24:25:

Re: I Don't Wanna - version differences

That's just the store's quirk: "SO" suffix means "sold out". For whatever reason they created another product when new stock came in (the initial product had got "SO" appended to its code by then).
Same CD. No difference.

Re: Searching for a b-side or unreleased song I can't remember the title

Nah, One-hit wonder does not flop. It's a super-duper masterpiece in my top 5.

Wiedersehen does flop to me. The intro verses sound sooo promising, you expect them to evolve into something really touching and impressing. But the "chorus" just abruptly turns it all nearly off.

Re: Live performances of Chris in past and now.

Chris did just dance in Monkey business video and live performances. So things aren't that hopeless. Where as Chris seemed to start out really enjoying live work and then maybe not so much. I think the amount of his live action has been reasonably proportionate to the percentage of songs in PSB cata...

The possibility was a remote one anyway, pure speculation, wasn't it?

Re: Question about the b-side of the Ab Fab 7"

Hold on - the quote definitely is "dull, soulless dance music", not "darling" or anything else. The character's accent is slightly plummy and the words "dance music" are faster than the other two and slightly mumbled because it's cut from a piece of dialogue. But that's what she says! I wish I had ...

with the original mailer box it came with, expect offers around £3000. If it's without the original mailing box it came with but WITH the signed numbered card, then expect around £2500
eeek! what's so special about that mailing box worth £500?

Re: Death of Ennio Morricone

A bit surprised the Boys didn't acknowledge his passing on their website. Yeah I was wondering if they would say something. Perhaps they didn't have much to say as they never managed to meet him in person. There is probably even some minor grievance about how he treated them. At the RAH concert Nei...

Re: Death of Ennio Morricone

From the Reissues booklet: We’d written this song ‘Jealousy’ – one of the first songs we wrote, which would eventually be recorded for Behaviour – and we wanted Ennio Morricone to do the string arrangement. So Tom Watkins tracked down Ennio Morricone’s manager and he came to Sarm West and we played ...
