They always been so prolific, I guess they are a bit tired and the world situation doesnt help either, I honestly fear they might retire for good

Re: Can You Forgive Her? PSB Synths.
Around 1991-1994 Chris was very fond of the Roland JD-800 keybaord synth and the Roland MKS-80 module synth. As Marcus says, you cab make this sweep effect on any synth with a resonant filter, but theese instrument are known for their beautiful and expressive filters. Other examples of the same eff...

Re: Can You Forgive Her? PSB Synths.
The 0:46 is the famous Roland JD-800 preset name "Classic Sweep" no other synth in the world can do exactly that sound, not even the rack version JD-990, I recommend you to use a vst called Zenology by Roland, their latest version includes a plugin of the JD-800, not ideal but better than ...

Re: Anything?
They probably have enough songs from lockdown for 3 albums, but if they are all in the direction of the Cricket Wife then I prefer they release nothing

Re: Stephen Hague Podcast
Worth also checking out the previous interview from the same series with Steve Lipson. Very complementary about both Neil and Chris (he gets a mention!) and the making of Left to my own devices Just listening now, Stephen Lipson was the real deal on Left To My Own Devices, bass and rhythm productio...

Re: Stephen Hague Podcast
the story of how the intro of West End Girls was recorded is fascinating, sometimes we get lost on whos done this or that and I used to think everything was done by the artist/s but producers, mixers and engineers they do at least 50% of what we love and we dont have the slightest idea, well to know ...

Re: I love seeing Madonna publicly state she has been influenced by PSB
She's probably rather hard to work with - didn't Chris once call her "pushy" or something like that? Hahaha that sounds Chris Lowe It must be hard to work with Madonna in the studio, but I think it must be hard with Neil and Chris as well. Too famous artists tends to over complicate simpl...

Re: Uncanny likeness to New york city boy
Well.its like that Get Lucky song from Daft Punk, it was inspired by 70/80s funk so they took a piece of this and a piece of that but in 1999 there wasnt much revival around and that wasnt something to comment I guess, every piece of art comes from another Not true..there was loads of filtered disc...
