I have a copy too, picked it up in Brooklyn in 2008, definitely a US pressing with a thick card sleeve with spine and the US catalogue number on that and at the top right of the back sleeve. My copy doesn't have the gold promo stamp that the sleeve in the image appears to have. I didn't know it was...

I have raised this point several times - it is so disappointing - I would happily pay for the folders - I hate unfinished things and now am at a loss to know where to file the rest of the books.
From a local Recordshop, I purchased the 12 Triple Vinyl Boxset of POP ART Today, sealed for 20 GBP.
I have not seen these around for a long time, since release date actually.
