Yes, if you believe Michael Nyman!!

Looking at the touring schedule, I'm going to guess the single will be released on May 27th, with the album to follow on June 17th, the week they do the O2.

Has anyone thought that the album might go on sale AT THE VENUES only? Record shops are rare, downloads are a turnoff for us diehards. 20000 at the O2 and 20000 the next night at MEN. If half the people buy the Electric CD at the merchandise counter, that's 20,000 copies in one week. That's a nailed on top 3 album by Sunday. Special editions like vinyl, double CDs etc can be bought from the website or direct from the record company's website the same week.
Just a thought. . . .

Not going to happen since they don't visit every country.

I was thinking mainly of the UK market. I remember seeing The Most Incredible Thing for sale at Sadler's Wells during the run.

For anyone planning on attending the Karlovy Vary date, be aware that it's happening at the same time as the international film festival so hotel rooms will most likely be scarce and/or more expensive than usual.

According to the Arena's FB page, the programme will be :

21:00 – 22:00 - DJ
22:00 – 23:30 - Koncert Pet Shop Boys
24:00 – 04:00 - Afterparty DJ´s

How cool, good timing and schedule there :-)
And I saw some pics of the venue, looks good, modern and spacious.

Yes, but only as an instrumental if past experience is anything to go by...

So, it appears to be the most stripped back show they've ever done. No backing vocals - presumably they are all prerecorded? It lets the music do the talking, but 'of course it's all I tape'

You're right, and to me it seems like the worst idea ever to produce such a minimalist show after the spectacle that has been the Pandemonium tour. It's already hard enough to meet the expectations set by Pandemonium, and I'm sure the new show will leave many fans who expected an equally impressive performance somewhat disappointed.
