I agree that it's a bit of a fizzer!! For fan club members, even a "real" Christmas card, with perhaps something like "Thanks for your support over the years" would have been well appreciated. Anyone could get the ecard if they registered their details :grumble:

Neil loves the fans...Chris has made no such statement. Lol. It's a business to them.
Hello my name is Neil Tennant and I'm Chris Lowe and we're of the Pet Shop Boys.

Pet Shop Boys twitter profile has just re-tweeted this:

Got my first Xmas card today. It was from the Pet Shop Boys. Standard.

This means that Xmas printed cards are still around... maybe...

No it doesn't, no mention of it NOT being an E-card!

The fan club got e-cards, close friends, and the press got real cards in the mail.

If this is so, then I am hugely disappointed.

I know, it sucks.

Just keep an eye out on eBay, cause some people are selling the new Christmas cards.

I will definitely be looking to buy one as I have the whole set and would like to continue.
I think it would have been nicer if we could have received a "proper" card whilst we were still subscribed to the Fan Club and then they could have abandoned it when the new arrangement starts.

I agree with you, especially on the last part of your comment. That's what really pisses me off. Anyone who was still subscribed to the Fan Club imo "qualified" for a proper card. If it was next year, that's a different story!!!

I'm proper pissed off that Neil didn't make me a card himself, the bastard. He could at least have gone down Clinton's if he was bothered about the fans. That's certainly the last time I'll ever buy the 9-minute version of This must be the place I've waited years to leave. :grumble:

Anyone who got the latest Literally for free should have been eligible for a Christmas card, no matter how long you've been with the club
