It reminds me this incredible Moog video.

Music videos don't need to be expensive these days. Lots of low budget, indie bands still make very nice videos, I'm sure the PSB can afford one.
How much do you think Thursday cost to shoot? It's just some footage of Shanghai (I'm not even including the hotel merchandising), Example, some basic editing and the annoying lens flare. I bet you could do something actually creative with the same budget.
Anyway, it's not all about making lots of money. I see videos and their visual identity as an integral part of the PSB project and pop music is still (mostly?) happening on Youtube.

So is there any? If not, where did Offer Nissim get his backing projections?
Have a look at my taste in music:

That’s the thing about negative energy, about hatred. It can be positive. It throws into relief all the things you know you like. It tells you, by elimination, what you’re about. Sometimes you can only define yourself by what you hate. Hatred becomes an inspiration; it makes you think, “What I’m doing now I totally believe in, and I don’t care what other people say.” Guided by hatred, you don’t have to follow the herd. - Neil Tennant

I'm disappointed they haven't gone to any trouble with a decent video for this single. Surely, even dedicated fans could do something better than a lyric video.
BTW I really like the song!

Literally lol'ed, then I realized you meant the background video on the screens.

Honestly epic videos are not hard to do these days, given iPhones can basically shoot HD versions anywhere. If PSB were to ask fans to make a video I'm sure we'd have some extraordinary options. Zog posted this in another thread but I think it's worth revisiting, this "fan-made" video to In His Imagination is absolutely brilliant and as professional as it gets.

That's absolutely incredible. Beautiful video
It works very well with the song, but the guy who made it just put the PSB music over an already made short film..it was not an specially made video...

Here's an absolutely heart-wrenchingly sad fan video of "Leaving the Happy-Sad Remix"

It appears that a young man in a graveyard (?) enters a tomb and brings out the body of his late girlfriend. He gently caresses her and she opens her eyes and smiles and then appears to go "back". As macabre as it sounds it's overwhelmingly sad. This video is quite stunning in its own simple way. If it doesn't bring a tear to your eyes, nothing will (In my opinion, of course!).

Thanks for the info.

Some of the footage is from about 2010. I can see the progress of the construction of "The Shard" skyscraper in the background on the Thames. For some reason I was following the construction of The Shard closely. I'm so glad Londoners gave new new 1000ft landmark a name, so no matter what some corporation tries to do, like buying the rights to rename the building, Londoners will have none of it. The Shard it is and the Shard (love it or hate it) it shall remain.

(in other words it won't ever be called the "Tesco Tower"!)
