The Super Store

#1 Post by wieske »

Taken from the official website:

Last week we announced a special pop-up store in London to mark the release of the Super album on April 1st. We can now reveal that the Super Store will be located in Boxpark Shoreditch, Unit 26, Braithwaite Street, E1 6GY.
The Super Store will sell a range of new Pet Shop Boys merchandise, including tee-shirts in five different designs, iPhone cases, a signed screen print (edition of 100), badges, and signed Super CDs and vinyl (while stocks last). There will also be listening stations with B&O Play headphones so visitors can listen to the album.
The shop will open from Friday April 1st to April 3rd, trading 11am to 7pm (Friday and Saturday) and 12pm to 6pm on Sunday.

I'm gonna need someone from this forum to hold on to some things for me, too. Is there a way we could get something like that going so non-London fans don't have to pay eBay-ers through the nose? Of course we'll cover shipping costs and the actual purchase price.
Will I always need you?
Would you want me to?

I'd probably ask someone to get a shirt, but it's difficult not knowing the designs. Hopefully this comes to the OS later.
Have a look at my taste in music:

That’s the thing about negative energy, about hatred. It can be positive. It throws into relief all the things you know you like. It tells you, by elimination, what you’re about. Sometimes you can only define yourself by what you hate. Hatred becomes an inspiration; it makes you think, “What I’m doing now I totally believe in, and I don’t care what other people say.” Guided by hatred, you don’t have to follow the herd. - Neil Tennant

I would love to get signed CD as I didn't preorder my copy yet. Signed screen print is tempting as well. If anyone can help me, please contact me via PM.

Looking forward to this, going to go and try and get a signed LP, Will look nice in the display case!

Obviously don't know prices but I bet a signed screen print is a silly price so won't be getting that, a poster would be nice though!

Hopefully the albums are normal retail prices.

Yes, I'm hoping signed CDs aren't more expensive than usual.

They are thinking outside the box by literally being inside a box.

Interesting article about why the street is named Braithwaite Street.
What's for supper?
