Twenty Something - Kornél Kovács Remix

#1 Post by One of the crowd »

What have I just listened to?

How on earth did this get passed?

While others are struggling to hear Rufus on Wiedersehen, I'm struggling to hear any original part of Twenty Something in this "mix"

Seriously N&C, go and get your ears checked out.

This is just shit and you're far better than this.

It's laughably bad, as in the E-Smoove Hall of Fame of Crap Remixes.

It's like the DJ Saquash remix of Memory of the future, but in reverse.

It's good imo...contains only a distorted vocal snippet from the original as far as I can work out.

It's a good piece of electronica but it's a shitty remix.
I sincerely *love* Disco 2 and listen to it straight through regularly.

It's terrible, I was hoping the days of crap remixes like this were over, obviously not.

As a track in it's own right it's OK (ish) but a complete waste of a remix. It may be succesful in some trendy and pretentious club but not for me and the vast majority of the fanbase either I'm sure.

It isn't even a good piece of electronica. This is molten brown. It sounds like it's melted into phlegm-coloured goo.

It reminds me of La Passione by Gigi D'Agostino, a track I love, so I'm enjoying it!

me reading this thread before hearing the remix: "pffft everyone is over-reacting as usual. how bad can it be?"

me listening to the remix a minute later: ". . . . oh"
