So the current state of the art of Farrow design is to take stock pictures from the internet and photoshop a title over it? Wow... I would be ashamed to be linked to such practice if I was them. :wall:

I assume there’s a bit more to it than that given that the sign in this photo is clearly wider than the one on the sleeve. Count the tiles!

Here today built to last ...
In every city and every nation ...
From Alexanderplatz to the Westend station
you could say conventional ... and I could claim intentional

Single cover is obviously taken from materials used for creating of lyrics video. And it was good work btw

If that's the concept then "Wedding in Berlin" will definitely appear...

The lyrics video is fantastic. It’s a slightly surreal feeling arriving into Dreamland, AKA Alexanderplatz, every morning with the song in the headphones and seeing all of the elements of the station that you previously took for granted in a new light.

I’ll say this though: they took the best part of the station as their inspiration. The level for the Pankow and Ruhleben lines is depressingly grim. That’s more of a Screamland.

You should see the conditions of Rome stations then. It's Disco 2 turned to subway.

Has anyone actually pre-ordered the album from the website? The thing is, not being an exclusive there, I'm waiting for an Amazon link, or news of any exclusive/Japanese editions etc. Gotta be frugal with these things. If it were the CD single, or Annually, I would jump on it right away.

Well now it's clear where the "inspiration" came from. There's a book about the Berlin U-Bahn.

The font used for Dreamland is the exact same font as used for the text "An underground journey of typography and colour" on the book.

Some may find it "fantastic", I find it an uninspired ripp off job. Not the quality Farrow are known for.

It’s DIN regular. It’s the go-to font for German signage. It’s famous for it. Thousands of publications use it for that reason and in that context. It’s the obvious choice for a PSB ‘Berlin’ album campaign. Did you get annoyed when Farrow used Helvetica as well?!

I'm not annoyed by the use of a specific font. I'm annoyed by the fact that recent artwork lacks inspiration and originality. The Agenda artwork was a stock photo with a title photoshopped on it, and that level is being maintained for the artwork of the new album as it seems.

Bitch, bitch, bitch… it’s a good sleeve, and the matching video is great.
