what I dont get is why drag queens are pulled into the equation. for instance, if I am watching a Def Leppard video, as a straight guy I would like to see some hot women in it...I wouldnt expect a group of female clowns to suddenly show up in it. so why they want to see essentially a group of clowns in their video is beyond me. possibly I dont have my finger on the pulse of the gay community. maybe trannies are just a part of it, like leather and chaps. but cripes sakes man why do they have to tie such an great song with this?

There must be a Def Leppard video with a drag queen in it… if only I had the patience to search…

Well, I stayed away for 3 years, but I thought I would come back to celebrate the new album (which so far is sounding awesome to me), but I see things are just the same. Oh well. I'm back, at least for a bit.

The problem here is if the repeat the same thng again and again. I mean, if it reminds us to Was it worth it?, New York City Boy and even the final part of It Couldn't Happen Here? is not a good thing.
But I think it's going to be better than that. At least, it's what I expect.

It would be nice a Def Leppard video or any other rock band with drag queens because it's not usual at all.
It would be nice a PSB video with female nudities (like the boy jumping in the Being Boring video) because it's not usual at all.

This might be the club the video is filmed in, but might not - at least we don't have long to wait.

I have to admit, this does look like it’s going to be a video that I will not appreciate from that preview. Grateful as I am for a new video In the age where the cost of production will barely be covered by sales of the song it is promoting, I hope this one appeals to fans of all sexual orientations. I’ve watched the Winner video twice, both times I hated it.

There are plenty of near-naked women in the Being Boring video. In fact you couldn't get a video that was more loaded with attractive young people from both sexes.
Anyway, if you're not satisfied just play Monkey Business while you watch Pornhub.

I actually quite liked the video for Winner. The theme of the video fit the song nicely.Synthrobot wrote: ↑Thu 23 Jan 2020, 12:56 am I have to admit, this does look like it’s going to be a video that I will not appreciate from that preview. Monkey Business seems to me a song that could overcome some musical boundaries people have with PSB, so I just think if you're going for universal appeal a drag queen isnt the first choice I'd put in a teaser for the video.

It’s astonishing how much intolerance repeatedly creeps in on a forum for a band who are so opposed to it.glennjridge wrote: ↑Wed 22 Jan 2020, 11:49 pm a Drag queen. oh wonderful! You don't have to be "intolerant" to not personally like drag queens in music videos. I wouldn't consider myself intolerant at all, however I don't like the aesthetics of it and I agree that there is not much "universal appeal" in it for many other people as well. I'll reserve my final judgement until I saw the whole thing, however.

You don’t have to be intolerant to not personally enjoy drag performances, but the breathtaking extent of unchecked privilege in a heterosexual male essentially questioning why his preferences haven’t been taken into account in a 30 second teaser clip for a video by two men from outside his demographic... f*** hell.Tenlow wrote: ↑Thu 23 Jan 2020, 7:52 am You don't have to be "intolerant" to not personally like drag queens in music videos.
