In the USA, last year 220 000 were tested positively for the flu of which 22 000 died. Mortality rate is 10%, not .1! If you include estimated flu cases, then the mortality rate drops to .1. The same would apply if estimated corona cases were considered. Because the millions who recovered from it without getting tested would lower the death rate considerably. The death rate for Corona is currently at 4%, much lower than for the flu.
Can't you see how the msm have been scaring people over nothing in order to destroy the economy and to create chaos and mayhem? If we tracked every single flu case, the map in Spain would be looking much worse.
To live in fear is not to live at all. Perhaps you should never ever get into a car because every day people die in accidents.
Flu is perfectly known but we don't know anything about Covid-19. That's whay it's obviously a danger for everyone. Spain has seen what was happening in Italy and it has been taking actions. Now Germany and France are doing the same thing because they are watching this is not a joke.

Looks like Donald Trump and Boris Johson were not too worried, well they are not very smart. But Boris has changed his mind because he already knows this is serious.

I totally agree. I'm Spanish and we're not able to get out here. The state of alarm has been decreed and for the time being it will be two weeks, but we already know that it will be more. Economically this for a country is the worst.

On top of everything I have tickets for May 1 at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin and I'm afraid it won't be possible.

I just hope they postpone it and don't cancel it, because even if it's another date I want to go.

BREAKING: The entire UK strategy for fighting #coronavirus was based on false analysis. Scientists advising the Gov’t now say the UK only realised "in the last few days" that its Coronavirus strategy would "likely result In hundreds of thousands of deaths" .

Buzzfeed tho...
Your scepticism is wise, but they link to the report, so that you can read it rather than accept their take on its findings.

What nobody is taking into consideration: Come next year, are we going to shut down the entire world again because corona 20? Is this gonna be the new normal? Over a virus which virtually almost everybody recovers from? No concert promoter is ever gonna take the risk to plan a tour. We're a bunch of pussies. Our entire society has become weak.
PS: Tom Hanks and his wife have been released from the hospital. They had shown only mild symptoms. And we're shutting down because we're always assuming the worst? That's not how society can function. Life is a risk, we just need to get on with it.

Your opinions are dangerous, reckless and frankly stupid. We'll see if your social Darwinism will protect you the second someone sneezes at you.
Next year, we might have a vaccine, many people will already catch it i.e. potentially developing immunity, and the virus will be studied in detail.
Again, no one would want to tank the global economy over a silly thing. People still go to work, even if they're ill, so it's not like capitalism wants to stop everything.

I suppose it was posted over there before:

News
14 March 2020
Dreamworld

Amid the uncertainty caused by the Coronavirus pandemic, with governments taking measures to try to mitigate the effects of the virus, we all wonder what the immediate future holds for us. Pet Shop Boys and their team are working on the music and production of the upcoming Dreamworld tour while aware of the possibility that some of the dates may have to be postponed until a later date because of government directives. As soon as we know if any changes have to be made to the Dreamworld tour schedule, we’ll let you know.

What Future said. The tedious "oooh let's say anything, see if we can upset the Libs" attitude is dull at the best of times, but especially when so many lives are going to be lost.

Our entire society has become weak.
That nearly everyone is prepared to make temporary but difficult changes to their working practices and lifestyles, to help to save the lives of other people far more at risk form this virus than they are, is a sign that our society is strong.
