Yeah, he mixed it, but they most likely produced it.

I'm sure we will get some more goodies as long as this Coronavirus shit continues. And it obviously will as of 1 June 2020. They are popular and have such a cult following and I'm sure groups are approaching them to do unique stuff with their copyrighted music. Do you think they were in the same room when they recorded this...either the music or the video? I think not with available technology. But I'm curious what others think except for whats-her-name.

I also think that they are holding off on doing any productions together until the coast is a little more clear health-wise. But who knows.

Also, the video is very interesting. As we all know, they have been diminishing their music video output at higher creative levels for quite some time...and even Neil has said that it is not worth spending the money on music videos anymore. Yes the "lyric videos" are creative and cheap cost-wise...they actually do more than most music artists with lyric videos...but not what they used to do of course with a full corporate record label backing them up. And so...with this "Lockdown version" and with the video, they could turn it into a series and document updated versions of songs with lower production videos. I think that would be a good idea for their legacy.

"Chris and Neil recently created a brand new version of “West End girls” for the Smithsonian Pride online event which took place yesterday. On his laptop at home, Chris played and programmed a new backing track which he forwarded to Neil who then recorded his vocals. Pete Gleadall then mixed the track. Luke Halls, who creates much of the video content for PSB live shows, made the finished video by editing footage shot by Chris and Neil at the homes where they have been isolating. You can watch the video at the link below."
