Yeah I picked up a copy today, very good interview actually. Nice new picture of Neil & Chris holding a kind of light sabre each. Plus the new picture that is on front cover & better one of them inside along with other piccies most of you have already seen.

From Popjustice

FYI
March 09 2006
We thought you might like to know about the new issue of 'The' Word magazine.

It includes two particularly amazing things.

One of them is an interview with the Pet Shop Boys in which Neil Tennant reveals that he has good taste in pop websites.

The other amazing thing is the definitive look back on why Smash Hits was so brilliant.

Also, if you're in on Saturday night, try to catch The Smash Hits Story on Channel 4 at 11pm. It's a reswizzled version of the documentary that first went out to celebrate the mag's 25th birthday. Portions of the new footage are probably best viewed as a masterclass in why website editors should never, ever do TV interviews.

It's a good interview but also too deferential. I'd like the interviewer to have asked Neil about their relationship with Blair and the New Labour project. They are obviously anti-Blair now but what on earth possessed them to go and meet the smarmy wanker back in 1997? I also remember seeing Neil on Channel 4 with Pumpkinhead Whiley going on about how politics and pop didn't mix. I'm all forvolte face but I would like to see Neil 'Paxmaned' once in a while.

Also interesting to read that they wanted to release The Sodom and Gomorrah show as the first single but *adopts punk sneer* E-M-I vetoed it because of its' suggestive title!

I like the Union Jack bowler hat! Looking
forward to seeing and reading that mag
which I did not yet get at the local main
station today.
The salesperson said they expect it for
Monday and promised to put aside one
copy for me. I hope it' ll appear and I' ll
get one ...

Your pathetic. Articulate your point and don't resort to such pathetic schoolground name calling.

where to start, he is a smary, grinning, toadying (when it suits him), bandwagon hopping, untrustworthy twerp and I am sure he has masturbated in the past so JSP was spot on.
