Boy Strange is not only one of the best songs on Nightlife, it's also one of the most melodic songs on that album, with lots of chord changes. Only conservative PSB fans dislike it.

Hi everybody,
please, does anyone know if the DVD that Amazon USA sells, (I think is the Hong Kong version), brings spanish subtitles? Accord to the page is NTSC, Region Unknown.
I live in Peru, and the only way to buy the DVD is through Amazon USA.
Thanks.

How can you know if soemone is conservative due to whether they like/dislike Boy strange? I don't like it because it hasn't got a tune. To be honest it's bilingual that seems to polarize fans, and that is the boys at their most experimental (over the course of an album at least) and it's one of my favourites. Anyway each to their own, and best leave Bowie to being Bowie.

Actually, I played Bilingual yesterday evening for the first time in months. What a fantastic record! In another discussion, I ranked Bilingual rather low (6th out of 9 albums) but it has some real great songs on it!

I´m pretty sure that all releases (Canadian, UK, Hong Kong, Australian, Argentinean, PAL or NTSC) include spanish subtitles. The big problem is the inclusion of the Flamboyant video...excluded on most of the releases... (you´ll have more chances to get a 'Flamboyant' release if you catch an UK PAL or a HK NTSC one...but even on this cases you can´t be 100% sure...)
This is not my signature.

If you'd like to watch ALIP before buying it, http://netflix.com has it available for rental. I'm getting it in the mail tomorrow.

No, Pet Shop Boys don't name songs after attention-seeking fan forum members...

Still waiting to hear the Adam Freeland, Manhattan Clique and Axwell mixes of Integral.

I'm sure Opportunities and Always on my mind are absent - both essential songs in the history of PSB.

DJ Fairborne wrote:The Extras are superb, and it's great to have all the videos from "Miracles" right upto "Numb", and "Go West" ('Live' at the '94 Brit Awards) was great to see again, as I've not seen it since 1994, when it was broadcast on TV. So, all in all a really great DVD and definitely recommended by me!
I only found out now that the DVD has so many extras. The tracklisting:

1. Chapter 1: The Beginning
2. Chapter 2: Two Divided By Zero
3. Chapter 3: London
4. Chapter 4: The First Meeting
5. Chapter 5: West End Girls
6. Chapter 6: Image
7. Chapter 7: The Best Was Yet To Come
8. Chapter 8: Serious Songwriting
9. Chapter 9: Live At Last
10. Chapter 10: Behaviour
11. Chapter 11: Pop Or Rock
12. Chapter 12: Going West
13. Chapter 13: Latin Influence
14. Chapter 14: Closer To Heaven
15. Chapter 15: Release & Potemkin
16. Chapter 16: Depth Through Surface
17. Miracles - Music Video
18. Flamboyant - Music Video
19. I'm With Stupid - Music Video
20. Minimal - Music Video
21. Numb - Music Video
22. West End Girls - Live On 'Hits des Clubs'
23. What Have I Done To Deserve This? - Live '98 Brit Awards
24. Go West - Live '94 Brit Awards

Why aren't the music videos mentioned on the official site, and also not on Amazon?? Are they complete songs, by the way?

If you have the PopArt DVD and this one, do you have all of PSB's official music videos so far (except for "Absolutely fabulous")? Or am I missing something? Just ordered A life in pop.

The Extra: Complete songs all the way (although some of them are not live as you will notice)!
I guess we now have, together with Pop Art, all the official "single" videos on dvd.
