And earlier: (Neil) asks whether the soundman can mix the audience noise especially low for them and, to his surprise, the soundman has a better offer: "you could have none"
"i'd love none" says Neil with enthusiasm.
"The only problem is" says the soundman "is if theyloon about too much". If the crowd are clowning around too enthusiastically the director will insist that they can be heard in all their hyperactive glory otherwise it will look strange on tv.
"They're not going to loon to this song" says Neil and this sounds as though it's partly a prediction and partly an instruction.
