They certainly are - is 'cheap entry for birds' still widespread on the straight club scene then?

It's certainly not common at the clubs I frequent....lol.

The pricing may well be nothing to do with Heaven, especially given that this is a benefit event - the flyers say "minimum donation". I am going to the event with a male friend so we are going to average the price out to 37.50 each. I agree that making men pay twice as much as women is unfair and rather bizarre though.

Hadn't read these posts before booking, but I managed to book mine directly through the Heaven website on Saturday. Was going to come on and post this news as the O/S still has nothing on booking arrangements!!

Brilliant! I have also booked just now, directly from the Heaven website. FYI : the tickets are also available through www.clubtickets.com at the moment.

I am coming to London, together with Yves. This is going to be a fantastic weekend!!!

Really glad you were able to book, Grover. Hope you have an excellent time. Maybe some fans can arrange to hook up before hand. I suppose for some people the priority will be to get a plce near the stage at the front.!

"Can you Bear it?", a benefit concert for Dainton Connell's family will be held at Heaven, London WC2, on May 2nd. The event, subtitled "20 years of House music", will feature a stellar array of DJs as well as a short live set by Pet Shop Boys.
