Nicole playing the older PSB era Dusty would be ridiculous, so I bet we won't see anyone as Neil and Chris either. With a luck we may get a 5 second snippet of What have I done to deserve this? playing on the background or something, and even that's a very optimistic prediction.
Unfortunately, as with when Dusty was put into the C4 rock and roll hall of fame I beleive the boys will be unfairly looked over again, they have never really been given any credit by the music industry for resurecting Dusty's career and theat was apparent on that night, Its almost as though she just magically reapeared form nowhere on her own, never mind the boys giving her her biggest hit in the US ever and a whole new younger fan base. The film is supposed to be up to her death so how thay can do it without mentioning the boys god knows but im sure they'll find a way!
On a serious note it would be good if at least they were given a credit in the film as consultants. This seems unlikely though I suppose if they are going to be overlooked in the plot.
Still tie a lot if this up with homophobia since Neil came out.

Any serious (or trivial )casting suggestions?
May I suggest Michael Cera to play the role of "Neil"?
You may not.
