js, dont you think that it would be a good time for a band in the same genre as psb to release an album when psb are recieving an award and getting heavy publicity because of it?JSDOUVRES wrote:Well this and the other thread has just turned into another PSB vs Erasure thread which was not really the point was it?
So the only fact I have got right is the 5 Erasure number 1's, if that is what you really want to believe then so be it, Fair to say the best fact of the lot. And since when has your opinion been fact? Fact to who you? Especially when you constantly use references that you can have no proof of whatsoever! And your the one that made the very title of this thread up! And you have still not explained as to how or why people will go into a record shop and buy an Erasure record because of a Brit for another band! I need to know why for a fact! You must have the answer, you do have for everything else! Let's stay on topic, please tell me!!
Let's get to basics, there are people that like PSB, people that like Erasure, and people that like both! Oh and people that like one of either and bitterly hate the other. That is quite clear.

If their whole anti-maths logic wasn't bad enough, why is it the Erasure apologists have such a bad time with basic English? Mind you, if you cast your mind back to Bell-End's trite and crass attempts at wordplay it's hardly a surprise. Oscar Wilde he ain't.skyhigh wrote:was annoying me too but i thought id just let him go with it......No Muscle Mary wrote:Can I just point out an annoying spelling mistake there? It's turd.

So people are going to see the PSB get the award and go out and buy the new Erasure album because it is of the same genre? Are you sure? Sounds a bit dodgy to me. Wouldn't they be more interested in a PSB album? I would have thought that it would be a good moment for the shops to be stocked up with Pop Art or Fundamental albums. I just don't see people suddenly becoming fans of Electro pop and buying albums from other groups because of it. It is the PSB getting the award and they are going to be looking for their albums surely.skyhigh wrote:js, dont you think that it would be a good time for a band in the same genre as psb to release an album when psb are recieving an award and getting heavy publicity because of it?JSDOUVRES wrote:Well this and the other thread has just turned into another PSB vs Erasure thread which was not really the point was it?

Another example of your arrogant attitude. If you act like this ( which I hope you don't ) in the real world then I don't envy your environment. You must be real pain in the @ss. Manipulating, twisting words, arrogant, derisive braggart who thinks he's better than everybody else.

Sorry, I work as a sub-editor so I spot every spelling mistake. This is nothing, you should see some of the stuff being posted on the comments section of the Baby P story on the Sky News website. There must be a lot of Vicky Pollards out there!homer1972 wrote:

No-one was correcting grammar. It was poor spelling that was highlighted. No Muscle Mary wrote:Sorry, I work as a sub-editor so I spot every spelling mistake. The evidence is in this whole very topic throughout 19 pages.

And there I rest my case. Funny, but I had a feeling you wouldn't be able to provide one quote of mine with a credible opposing fact.tuff enuff wrote:Loins Of London wrote:And the evidence is where, exactly?tuff enuff wrote:Manipulating, twisting words

I'm sure Vicky Pollard's spelling would be spot-on.skyhigh wrote:No-one was correcting grammar. I imagine the reason for all you erasure fans posting on this forum is that you're all quite upset that it isnt erasures 'song?' collection that has a Brit sticker on it. You know what would be funny? If bell-end and the other one heard a rumour that a popular duo were to get a brit and they stupidly thought itd be them. Maybe thats why the dates were changed. Egg on face time!! How silly of them.![]()
Pulse, would a real psb fan expect their new album to be a 'piece of terd'? I dont think you like PSB, which begs the question why you are even posting on here in the first place?

Ummmm, my one spelling error of a slang word is "annoying"? Isn't that like the ocean calling a puddle "wet"? I find lack of proper punctuation also annoying. These were just taken from the last two pages.skyhigh wrote:laziness isnt abt who writes more or less. laziness is about erasure releasing any old crap. psb on the other hand are perfectionists
How desperate has your side become now, anyways? First making things up about my appearance, now grasping at the spelling straws LOL. If you want to really see some nasty grammer, check out Underwear.

Oh, and I'm still waiting to hear what this wonderful line of employment is that Loins has. Someone, please enlighten me, even if it's through PM.
I think I'm going to copy and paste this entire thread into an easy-to-read Word document and send it to a cross section of a few dozen email addresses at Parlophone, EMI, and Mute. Perhaps they can enlighten me on who this wonderful harbinger of insider information is.
