Yup, just before Christmas 2005, some five months before Fundy, this was released: http://www.discogs.com/Pet-Shop-Boys-Ps ... ase/589381

Edit: On a side note, that instrumental being labeled PSB 002, this was PSB 001, released four years earlier. I wonder if they actually keep track that good of all those promo catalogue numbers.

Just another fall guy (like me) that was taken by Lydias faked snippet of love etc.

Nice to see that she actually acclaims in the comments sections to have faked it.
Ready to spend another desperate weekend without having a clue on how it'll sound.
cheers.

Isn't it funny how these apparent snippets are always instrumental?

Cheeky!

The Psychological instrumental was a studio-quality full track and the official site verified it was real.

When the heck are we going to hear this single?

I was listening to the new Royksopp single which they've uploaded entirely onto their official website. Now that happens to be released on the same day as Love etc. and the album is also released on the same day as 'Yes!!'

C'mon!

This is all very well, but I think I've stumbled across a bit of a scoop. Judging by this artwork, it seems Pandemonium is going to be single number two:

Here's the artwork. I think it's brilliant.

Right. Releasing new single 7 days before album is senseless. Love Etc should hit to radiostation in the beggining of February :/ I don't know what they'are doing. Nowadays it's a typical action to promote new material much earlier than official release.

Single mix? Do you think that 3:34-song need it? :P

PS - no mercy for ITunes, no special tracks :/ it's s***. Viva CD's and Vinyls and illegal files, but not Itunes :/

It's also the most popular way of legally downloading music. A market that PSB have to start embracing.

In person i think that illegal mp3 = iTunes filse :/ It's comical to pay for something digital, for thing using on computer/mp3 players only. This ''market'' is entirely for illegal files, then i go to shop to buy CD. I hate modern way of music distribution, despite my ''modern'' age ;)

Make up a playlist in iTunes of your .m4p files. Burn playlist to CD. Load CD back into iTunes and you have mp3's.

Although of course it'll decimate their single sales, and not just because the kids don't care about them. When the single hits digital, almost their entire global fanbase will be locked out of buying it thanks to regional iTunes deals. They'll lose all the international fans who import physical singles.

The only way I could hear the download-only Fundamental tracks was to pirate them, for example.
