It is utter shit and anyone who thinks a PSB cover would ever look like this is seriously deluded.

I guess if somebody wanted to they could make a fake everything, even the sticker.
Stay the course or change it up?

100% fake.

The title 'Love Etc' is written with the 'violator' font, so called since it's been used by DM for their Violator Album.

Do you think Farrow would use a 'violator' font?

1. It´s not a bad CD/DVD cover...
2. It doesn't look at all as a PSB/Farrow cover...
3. The design of the CD itself doesn´t look AT ALL a s a PSB/Farrow design...
4. The font used doesn't look at all as a PSB/Farrow choice...
4. The way how "Love Etc" is written doesn´t fit the PSB standards (it must´ve been 'Love etc' instead...)
5. The JSDOUVRES comment abaout the CD reflection on the jewelcase is a very good point...
6. Anyway It´s very good 'fake' picture (if it's faked...) and a better job than the usual fakes (if it´s fake)...

...So, it seems fake, but I can´t say 100% if it is or not...(there was two ways to fake something like this: Photoshop over a previous picture, or a real picture of a fake cover, sticker and CD print...it´s a good job one way or the other...)
This is not my signature.

It's surely fake. We did it in a community of them here in Brazil. Just for joke.

Here are the original ones:

Looks like yet another album cycle where the PSB do their best to promote piracy and shoot themselves in the foot with pointlessly lost sales. It's the 21st century. Releasing anything exclusively on vinyl is moronic; every single track not released on CD will be relentlessly bootlegged and represents money left on the table. I'm sure a few tracks will be halfheartedly issued as downloads that thanks to regional restrictions thousands of fans won't be able to buy. Really stupid strategies for such bright guys.

I fully agree Patrick, let us buy the mixes or bonus tracks on CD or official download. We're gonna get them anyway, so PSB may as well make some money. Enough of this whole exclusive format thing.

Case in point is Girls Aloud "Memory of You" - I couldnt possibly buy the 7" single in New Zealand, so I had to get this from a blogger. Easy for me -no cash ( or chart sale) for Girls Aloud. Wake up industry.

Oh, and Love Etc. should be able to buy the day its first played. Did you see the heat go out of The Loving Kind due to the long wait to buy?

I think we'll listen "Love etc" (the whole song or at least a snippet) tomorrow or on Tuesday.

Good point. I cannot understand why they had it on the 7" only. I bought the vinyl for the sake of it to give them a sale, but I had already got access to the track after ripping it from YouTube.

With regards your last point, though, remember that "Out Of Control" sold bucketloads. Therefore, everyone that was interested already had "The Loving Kind". A barely different radio edit wasn't going to shift many copies. I'm pleased it performed as well as it did, though.

Erm, when it's getting its first radio play next Monday that would be beyond pointless.

Politely said, you're completely wrong. http://www.dafont.com/violation.font
Depeche Mode did not use a font as it was actually Anton Corbijn's handwriting used for the cover. Besides, Anton Corbijn/Depeche Mode are going to use a font of the art director's/photographer's handwriting when he could easily just write it!? Image

People/fans have created fonts based on text/characters from DM sleeves but again, what you're saying simply isn't true and your info is misinformed. The font you mentioned is not even close.

That said, the photo used on the fake sleeve looks great - but the fonts used and placement of them is really poor if a professional did them.

Shame Farrow/PSB have had such a luxurious looking photo such as this on a release before. In all likely hood, they probably won't in the future. But then, they did use an 'out of band character' image on the Numb sleeve previously, so... *shrugs*
