Neil on Radio 2
Cant see any mention but Neil is about to be interviewed by Stuart Maconie on Radio 2 just directly. He's on after the news.

The TV and radio thread is great for long-distance advance warning of shows, but it's pretty crap for reminding people of an impending event. This thread will conveniently double as a reminder and a discussion for what His Tennantness has to say...

Stuart Maconie has always been a bit of a fan. I remember him from his days on Radio 1, but more for his Select magazine contributions in the early '90s.
Select, like Melody Maker and Record Mirror, was a loss. All were great champions of our heroes.

Record Mirror was like a PSB fanzine at times, wasn't it?

News is on just now. Neil is on straight after.

Re: Neil on Radio 2
Record Mirror had this slightly ludicrous (but endearing) habit of calling them the "Petties" or the "Petshops" whenever they were propagandising on behalf of Behaviour or Performance.
I wonder if Maconie will discuss the new album with Neil. He made a positive reference to it earlier, so here's hoping we get some insight.

PS The "Petsoes" was another one. *shakes head*

That song about 5 minutes ago was nice. Anyone know who it was? My stream keeps going funny.

The Ting Tings are on at the moment...
Can't imagine there are too many over-earnest disquisitions of their lyrics on their fan forum...

Unfortunately the editor of Record Mirror, a massive PSB fan and cheer leader in the late 80's died recently. I think he was a friend of the boys. The publication stopped in 1991.Dipso wrote:Record Mirror was like a PSB fanzine at times, wasn't it?
