Re: Important pre-order information for Yes limited ed. vinyl
Hey Dudes,
I just got en email from Tim, confirming the vinyl on 27th April @ £12.99. +postage.
It then says :
IF YOU ARE HAPPY WITH YOUR ORDER YOU NEED TO DO NOTHING.
And further down is a pink button titled "Click to pre-order"
which takes me to a page which looks like a final confirmation order @£12.99.
Very confusing.
Advice ....

Done.
I think we follow the button link and pay the balance.
Just want to confirm.
No deduction for deposit and it is charging £11.50 for signed for rather than usual £3.50

Oh, right, I assumed that was a button for those who hadn't yet pre-ordered it/paid the deposit.
But you're right, we will need to pay the remainder at some point and, if not now, when?

Let's wait to see the reply to Greg's e-mail to Tim. No point everyone asking him the same question.

Why didnt you just do nothing like it stated?gregf wrote:Done.

It states that the seller will process the order, only to do something if you don't now want the product. he has your details from the deposit. only issue is the fact that our payment details are stored

WARNING:
Watch out. The final credit card page has a mistake
and wants £11.50 for signed-for postage
.
I have emailed this to Tim.
I am tending to think that doing nothing is correct but,
doing nothing is an assumption that may be wrong.
It is all ambiguous so best to just ask.
Sorry, it's the engineer in me coming out.

Oh...
It's so simple:
1. The first line in the mail says: "If you have left a deposit..."
meaning, if you payed the 2 pounds, do nothing. Card will be
charged for the rest of the amount and LP shipped.
2. If you didn't pay deposit, press button and order.
