The Pet Shop Boys one minute for orchestra - 'Particle' is is due to be transmitted (sounds like a physics lesson) on 7th May as part of the Music and Chance recording BBC Radio 3 7pm. Listen out for yours truly Sandy Shaw throwing a pair of dice during the concert too! (Hope I'm not left on the cutting room floor).

Has this been cancelled?Paul wrote:Pet Shop Boys are listed to be on Later with Jools Holland on May 19th![]()
I've looked at the line-up listed in next week's Radio Times and there's no PSB mention. I've also visited the website and copied this info about the show on May 19th:
Can anyone shed any light on this?Tue 19 May 2009, 22:00 on BBC Two
Synopsis Later with Jools Holland continues with the live 30-minute show on a Tuesday evening.
Joining Jools for the seventh and final show of this series will be Kasabian, who are about to release their third album, 'West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum', before spending the summer supporting Oasis; Chrissie Hynde's The Pretenders return to the studio to perform a couple of numbers from new album 'Break up the Concrete'; Senegalese legend Baaba Maal will also be in the studio to perform tracks from his new album 'Television'; and Moscow-born, New York-bred Regina Spektor will be performing an acoustic number from her new album 'Far'.
From north London, Golden Silvers make their 'Later' debut with tracks from their debut album 'True Romance', and, from Chicago. the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, a nine-piece predominantly brass ensemble, eight of whose members are sons of Phil Cohran, and who have played with the likes of Mos Def, Erykah Badu and Maxwell. They will be supporting Blur in Hyde Park this summer.

Did seem to make sense as they would be rehearsing for the tour and also have a new single to promote
Ah well, heres hoping they got the dates wrong and they are still apprearing (would be good promotion for the single, concerts and the album

If it's on the radio (and it is), we should be able to tune in..
And everything about tonight feels right and so young
And anything I'd want to say out loud will be sung
It's in the music...

Not sure which day, but for UK early-birds, 7am Monday-Friday PSB will feature on Channel 4's Freshly Squeezed.
Is this the only TV promo for Did you see me coming??
Anyone more info on the Graham Norton BBC peak-time show?
