It looks like you are all going on as though it's some kind of exam you have failed because you were given false instructions. I'm sure it was only for a bit of fun, for crying out loud.

This is great, though. The magic is manifesting itself amongst true great pop artists, like I had predicted. The stars are aligning - now to see if anything can come out of all this.

Maybe this subject would lend itself to a good question/comment when we are invited to write in to the next Literally :?:

Alright. I've followed the discussion & mulled this over for a few days now.
And....

As much as I would have preferred a more polished poster, this non-traditional take might just turn out to be a winner.

BTW: I really, really want one for my collection.

What do you say about that?

Winner 2009.

It's written that they created that poster before PSB release YES as album.
It would be very interesting.
The Letter "Ы" looks like Yes logo, don't you find?
Plagiarism or similarity?
Russian poster 2008 (!).

Looks like plagiarism, if it can be proven the 2008 picture was really made in 2008 and if it was made by a different artist. Could only find this image which pre-dates the competition - http://huishko.livejournal.com/21751.html :eh:

It's not famous Russian band. even me... I know nothing about them and I know for sure, they are not PSB fans or etc... Probably some people look for some ideas in the net and present them as they release it.
Such a shame...

http://huishko.livejournal.com/ the same style.

I don't know what to think about it but I noticed that many odd things was happen for last 5 years.

hmmm. my posters didn't win either, but what is the point in this discussion? We might not have chosen the same winner, but it is still fair for PSB to choose any of the entries and this one has its charme and is standing out in some way. I was not too happy either, but all this talk of breaking rules and plagiarism sounds like a waste of time to me.

However it is also rude to tell all non-winners how amateurish they are, some showed good creativity and excellent skills in digital image processing. the boys wouldn't have been happy if they got only 25 entries. This was by far the biggest competition on that site in recent weeks.
