What David Icke said in the 90 minutes I watched is, powerful people get together, have meetings,
and pick others to join, cementing a world view. Well of course they will, we know that. He focuses
on Europe centric groups, but it would be much more interesting to look at the US cliques.
It's his conspiratorial style that says to me, this guy has a way to go.

I think a lot of us would agree there is still unresolved questions about 9/11. To me the good
question is why did the dust contain a chemical only available to the US military ?

It is a lot of work to debate GW. Naturally some will resort to insult rather than do a lot
of work. Especially as we've done it all before. A good way to go about it is Wiki. Here's
what Wiki says on the Mars ice caps.

I am not sure if your supporting the Solar Radiation Theory but that does not look to explain GW either.
Neither are other planets close to the Sun warming.

Understood Like I said, the climate is very complicated. Perhaps the blowing dust is responsible on Mars, or perhaps not. Perhaps the CO2 is responsible on earth, or perhaps not. The dogmatic approach to global warming screams disinformation to me, as once again in our history We Know The Answer. Just like when the world was flat. I've been looking at both sides the whole time, and it seems this side is being repressed, so I'm arguing for it a little more vehemently.

Sincere apologies to Deschanel, I've heard you have been attacked nastily by right wing nutters in the past. Trust me, my views are on an entirely different wavelength from theirs. There is a lot of disinformation out there, and for one confused person to attack another confused person is not helping anything. Can we look past this and maintain respect Deschanel?

Uh, what? Did someone call you? I suppose yeah, there's been some strong opinions in the last 8 years about issues, but I forget them pretty instantly, and I'm frankly fond of Glenn, say. We argued and disagreed, it got heated, but he's a gent and it's no harm done in the end.

And I do apologize to you if i was doubtful and suspicious of where you were coming from. And my Palin thing was not especially addressed to you, but your arguments seemed pretty identical to the interests that are pretty actively anti environment, opposing cap and trade for carbon emissions seems a pretty odd issue to get worked up about, unless the citizen has been listening to misinformation, which is actively out there in tons. I believe you when you say you're honestly concerned, but I also honestly think unless you are personally running an oil company, it's nothing to get up in arms about. Modest restrictions on polluting industries will not kill civilization, okay? But poisoning our planet for profit probably will, sooner than we think.

And I'm no hippie here. It's just that I believe in the research and work of scientists, not public relations firms attached to the worst corporate offenders in pollution. Peace to you Whateverman, it's not personal, and thank you for the kind sentiments there. I see you're sincere, and hey, we're all just talking. Thanks, I know I ramble on, my problem is I think everything I type is crucial to my argument. Anyways, the cap and trade and carbon tax is pretty sinister if you look into it. Its going to mean extra taxes on everything for the consumer and car & home owner, essentially widening the rich/poor gap even further. And that's what its all about. More power and money for them, less for us. Its common sense, the old axiom 'you give an inch, they take a mile' is true. Never assume they'll stop, you have to make them. Take it easy
