Neil and Chris will be interviewed by Lauren Laverne on BBC 6 Music on Tuesday morning.

Tuesday, 10:00 on BBC 6 Music

Lauren is joined in the studio by Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe of The Pet Shop Boys to talk about The Most Incredible Thing, a ballet which has been put together by the duo. Based on the Hans Christian Anderson story of the same name, the performance opens in London on March 17th and it's accompanying soundtrack, written and performed by the Pet Shop Boys, arrives three days earlier.

Hmmm, it doesn't look as if they were on the Lauren Laverne show today after all. Maybe they cancelled as the ballet has sold out!

Neil and Chris were interviewed by Lauren Laverne on BBC 6 Music on Monday morning. They are on about 1 hour 40 minutes in.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0 ... _Shop_Boys./

It is actually rather a good interview. They talk about the ballet obviously, but also the charts, Eurovision ( "a thankless task") and a little about the next album. They have written - but not recorded - "some pop, some dance, some more introspective, miserable stuff for the older market - the manics, the depressives!"

Chris also says, rather intriguing, "Maybe we will be asked to do the Olympics ceremony or something, who knows?".

Javier Fruity was on Radio 3 too:

The ballet will be discussed on The Review Show on BBC2 on Friday 25 March at 11pm.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0 ... 5_03_2011/
Round table arts and culture discussion programme. Tim Marlow is joined by guests including novelist Denise Mina, Rev Richard Coles and Natalie Haynes to discuss the Pet Shop Boys' dance extravaganza 'The Most Incredible Thing' at Sadlers Wells, Kevin McDonald's epic movie 'The Eagle', the latest in the Wallander crime novels series and a new exhibition at the Wellcome Institute focussing on, of all things, dirt.

Review show as above. Right from the start.

Pretty reasonable reactions. I remember when Closer to Heaven was reviewed on the same show and it was absolutely slated.

Interestingly, one of the guests is a certain Richard Coles (now the Reverend Coles) formerly of the Communards, and he who added his piano skills to 'What Keeps Mankind Alive'.
