Hugh Dennis read my answer to ''What makes you cry'' at the recording of The Now Show last night. I had written ''A good pet Shop Boys Ballad as they may be national treasures''. I should have put that they ARE national treasures of course but the whole line finished ''but they are not antiques''. This is because we had been told that the Antiques Road Show made either Steve Punt or Hugh Dennis cry.

I don't know whether this will make it to the broadcast version of the show this evening...

Of course the Boys have had two of their own special concerts recorded at the Radio Theatre including when it reopened after a refurb.

Sad to report that the photo collage showing them and other artists just outside the theatre itslefhas been taken off the wall at Broadcasting House it was still there, but just propped up in a corridor.

maybe this has already been mentioned but I was watching an episode of this TV show called "the league" and one of the characters liked listening to techno music, and one of his friends who hated techno said something like "sheesh take it off, it sounds like the pet shop boys raping erasure."

please do, would love to see a clip of it. As much as I hate the link with erasure the line is very funny.
