Why aren't PSB on Jools Holland? Why do they have a single in the charts (and an album, some way down), but no updates on this promo thread for a week?

Not quite on the tv, but sort of - PSB currently listed on the Vidzone Pop playlist (I have it on PSB, I am sure it's available on other systems). Listed as Greatest Hits but everything is on there in reverse, starting with Leaving.
It's just my little tribute...

Do you have any idea what this "very special announcement" might be? Maybe they will annouce some tour dates finally?

[EDIT] Sorry, ignore the below. it *has* been mentioned elsewhere.

Could the announcement be linked to this?:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/orchestras/events/1218?date=201301

I haven't seen this mentioned on the forum anywhere, but I'm burying it here in case it has. Didn't want to start an unnecessary thread!

I've known about it for a while but assumed you'd all know about it as I'm never one to be first.
I can't go, unfortunately!

Neil Tennant's Smash Hit Christmas

Neil Tennant was a journalist on music's most poptastic magazine before he was a Pet Shop Boy. Here, with colleagues and stars, he recalls the early 80s golden age of Smash Hits.

We hear from founder and legendary magazine-maker Nick Logan, from editors David Hepworth and Mark Ellen, writers Miranda Sawyer and Sylvia Patterson and from regular Smash Hits cover girl, Toyah.

We also sample a rare recording from the 1982 Christmas Flexidisc (a message from the stars) and what's probably Neil Tennant's first ever recording.

Producer/Susan Marlin for Just Radio productions

The odds are good but the goods are odd

Pet Shop Boys name check 22 Dec 2012 on BBC One Pointless Celebrities Quiz show. The O-Zone's Jamie Theakston and Jayne Middlemiss choose
Music Awards. 100 people asked in 100 sec to name Recipients of the Brit Award for Outstanding Contribution
No one out of the 100 said Pet Shop Boys so Jamie Theakston and Jayne Middlemiss who had given this as one of there 3 answers won £2,500.00 for charity.
They make a little go along way.. very Minimal but Fundamental.
