Maybe you were viewing those things while you weren't logged in. Remember there's the picture area which doesn't show when logged out. If you then look into info, the data isn't complete as it leaves out posts in that hidden area.
there are indeed some older posts deleted. It's a pruning fuction on the board, which delete old posts and topics. This function is enabled in the off-topic and the Support forum, but not in the PSB forum.

When I look for my own posts, for example (I was in fact looking at other people's profiles, this is just an example), I get only 164 results, but I've made more than 500 posts. Were some older posts removed?

I just found this same problem, because I wanted to look over some old topics. We can't?? (I'm sure I tried a while back and it was fine, but it may have been near the start when there weren't many posts.) I assumed everything was viewable as previously but only about the last month's worth are there. So if the "function is not enabled" in the one forum, where are all the old PSB topics? Would it be possible to make them viewable sometime? Please? I don't care about post counts, but I really really really would like to look back and probably save some things. (I mean just the main PSB discussion forum, not the sub forums.)

Guess this was my fault, when I played with the 'Pruning system' a few days back...
And I was just set to do some catching up (of course I could have been more up to date in the first place). This is a bit of a disaster since there was some good stuff written over the last six months. So I suppose they really are completely gone and not in some backup limbo anywhere? It's usually quite difficult to really delete things permanently! There really are not very many left.

Yes agree, and hope this don't will happen again. If you turn on the 'Pruning function' just for fun, it's too late to change your doing again. The posts were deleted 24 hours after that, althrough I set the function to off right after my fault.
