Attitude Yes Preview
Re: Attitude Yes Preview
Don't splatter the street. In my view, the demise of the Pet Shop Boys will occur only when they have a serious falling out or when one of them dies. If they were to call it quits, they would in all likelihood have done so in 1991. Besides, it's not as if there are four of them or that they can retire to spend time with their wives and children.
These guys are artists. The rules of mere pop don't apply to them. They are the iconographic symbols of a musical genre. The gravitas they possess allows them the artistic divergence that mere mortals cannot aspire to or would not have the compulsion or ability to explore. It's a cliché, but music is what they do. They'll always have an audience (me for one), and they'll always be making it in some capacity. Ballets and soundtracks, musicals and remixes, it really will be "till death us do part."

Neither could I. I'm not worried one bit. They have a lifetime contract with music.

Yes. They are the types who can't help but make music. Even if they were not together they couldn't just sit still and not compose, and since they know each other so well that they speak the same language although they both approach it from slightly different perspective it'd be natural to to continue working together. And having both experienced the highs and lows together I'm sure nothing much can shake that foundation now. As Drico said, if they were to split up it'd have happened already, a long time ago.

I've been around the world for a number of reasons. I've seen it all the change of seasons, and I, my lord, may I say nothing?

I am expecting 5 musicals, 5 film scores, 5 ballets, and 50 albums. Oh and 100 entries in the Disco series...Ghost within this house wrote: You're then left with pleasingly round figures:

Maybe so, but it's still illegal in the fashion stakes. Especially as they would no doubt be combined with hairy toes and grey socks.
