Re: Reissues project
The whole Vinyl Revolution is total marketing bullcrap. Perfect case in point is Dire Straits' Brothers In Arms. Those old enough to remember 1985 will recall this particular release heralding the CD revolution. There's no better album to experience the perfect CD sound with, it's the perfect album...

Re: The irony of Agenda
I’m not sure that being “anti-Trump” makes anyone a “snowflake”. "Snowflake " is the new go-to slur to attack anyone with a conscience or who dares criticise the line of least resistance. Its use is so open ended too with a wide range of potential targets which is handy for the restricted IQs of th...

David Tennant on nicking Neil's surname
From the Guardian https://www.theguardian.com/culture/2019/feb/10/david-tennant-terry-pratchett-podcast-doctor-who-pc-backlash-interview Have you ever met Neil Tennant, whose surname you borrowed for your Equity card? Never. I’ve always been a huge Pet Shop Boys fan, so I’d love to. Although I might...

Re: Where is the oddest public place you've heard a PSB song?
I wouldn't say this was the oddest place but it felt quite appropriate. I was in a cafe in London just before joining the first anti-Iraq war March in February 2003 when London came on. "Let's do it. Let's break the law" Well I didn't but I think it's safe to say the US and UK did.

Re: New EP on April: Agenda
Could we keep NON-PSB arguing off this thread please? Nothing is going to be resolved. As for the EP I feel it may have worked better as a single with Rich as the lead track for airplay and then social media and Child as the two b sides. As for Track 1 it can crawl off and quietly die somewhere in a...

Re: New EP on April: Agenda
I was thinking maybe that child that was washed up on the beach, that died when trying to leave Syria with his family in a boat. That was heartbreaking. I thought that too. The sea footage in the lyrics video seem to refer to that too. That was my initial thought when I first heard the track. Alan ...

Re: New EP on April: Agenda
Is there some kind of PSB law now that states no b side or bonus tracks shall run beyond 3:33. If I have one major gripe with these tracks and most of the recent b sides is that they feel really truncated and don't have the capacity to develop or breathe. I mean Some speculation is over 6 minutes an...

Drico revels in his own absence and will return with a thoroughly comprehensive State of the Tennant Lowe Union speech shortly.

It's out on Spotify NZ, and probably many other countries by now. Using proxies is your friend!

Ah yes I'm not clever enough to fool my phone that I live in Polynesia! Cheers.
