When nothing appeared from Drico regarding the new album I assumed he was dead or, even worse, had become an Erasure fan. Glad he's still about after being away for what feels like years. How about some thoughts on Hotspot so we can all agree with you?

Pretty sure his bitterness comes from being trapped in that shell

They've had some great songs though.

Re: The unreleased single version of "It comes as a suprised"?

This was posted in youtube, and it suggests again that "It comes like a surprised" was planned as a single release in 2007. I think it is actually an official unreleased version, not a fan made. At least, my impression is that it is necessary to access to the multitrack to made this remix...

'Red Letter Day'? What's that? I know they released a song called 'A red letter day'....

Fraud.
They did release a song called Red letter day (live) on a CD single though. I get along I think

Re: When you stop liking the music as much

Hotspot is not sitting well with me now after 9 months. Even Willothewisp doesn't grab me like it did on first listen. I would say that the tent poles of the album are Will o the wisp, Happy people and Only the dark and maybe Dreamland but the rest just sags and fails to inspire. Generally speaking ...

The thought occurs that their entire catalogue might now be under one banner and that x2 is now part of it.

Re: Was Please released on CD straightaway?

I knew it was a bit later because Neil alludes to it in one of the album FL chats I think. When discussing the image of them on the album he says "when it was released on CD" they forgot to shrink the picture so it looks too large relatively. This implies it was some time later.

Re: The Theory about Disco 5

Everyone seems to expect Disco 5. they dont seem to give any thought to another release they could possibly make. and its the kind of release that strikes terror in the heart of many a PSB fan. deep disappointment .....and extreme irritation. yes,I'm talking about a live album. That'll be Disco Live
