Re: The Community "Christmas" EP Chart Position Seppuku Thread
I'm going to say somewhere between numbers 45 and 50 but with a miraculous second week life, if IDOSAC gets a bit more exposure in the days leading up to Xmas day. I predict the 2nd week will be a position similar to that of the 1st. Despite not reaching the Top 40, Christmas should still sell more ...

Re: The Community "Christmas" EP Chart Position Seppuku Thread
It's No 22 in todays midweek, currently 600 away from top 20. The good news is Joe McElderry isn't No 1 ! Yet....! (the CD isn't out until tomorrow.......) He's No 2. Rage Against the Machine hold top place. D Not too shabby, who knows where it will end up though...i wish Idosac would get a...

Re: The PSB curse.....
Should it snow i think there would be something rather prophetic about that and not a curse at all. PSB and irony, who'd have thought, eh?
Incidentally, Shirley Bassey's The Performance album has now sold 111,000 in the UK, so there's another nail in the PSB Curse theory.

Re: The Community "Christmas" EP Chart Position Seppuku Thread
The first Mid-week will be in soon.If it follows Did you see me coming?? pattern it will have a high mid-week and end up around 15-20 places lower on Sunday. However, Love etc started the midweek at 20 and ended up at 14, so lets see...A top 40 position of any kind will do at this time of the year.....

Re: Christmas EP - Chart Eligibilty
I checked the German itunes and earlier it was number 29 on the Album List.
Interestingly, each individual track could be purchased, rather than "buy album only", so each track can chart individually, i presume.

Re: All over the world live video
I always used to think that when an act uses concert footage for single videos, you know that act are close to calling it a day. It was often the way with boy bands coming to the end of their careers. Anyway, it's not the first time PSB do that. Remember "Somewhere". I've tried to blank t...

Re: Do you think AOTW should have been the first single of Yes?
No. Love etc was the correct choice. Their best single (lead or otherwise) for nearly 20 years. If commercial radio still supported PSB (ie if the whole UK singles market was entirely different to what it has become), Love etc would have been a big hit single. I still think, critically at least, it ...

Has anyone else noticed that the I-dent slot on 4Music (in the UK on Freeview) sounds very much like our Neil's harmonies. It comes on just before each Ad break.

Yes made number 32. Perhaps that answers your question?

Planet Sound, the soon sadly to be defunct excellent music site on ITV/ Channel 4 teletext service, have revealed their Top 50 singles of the year. Great to see Love etc placed so highly. But then it is their best singles in absolutely ages. http://www.teletext.co.uk/PlanetSound/Single-Reviews/defau...

Re: BBC coverage of PSB EP
I think we need to be realistic as regards what constitues "doing well" with the Christmas release. IF Christmas is chart eligible, I think a Top 40 chart position of any kind can be regarded as a success. The week of release is perhaps the most competitive of any in the year, and is defin...
