Re: 3rd single "Monkey Business" (Jan 2020)
They're pretty much stating explicitly that they wrote, how the hell can it be a cover? Especially if the original version was a demo of "Pazzo". I must have missed or forgotten when/where they said that. In the last Annually they talk about it evolving from and using the same sounds as Pazzo. It’s...

Re: I don’t wanna
Will people find ‘wanna’ more acceptable if it turns out to be a Chris vocal? Or an instrumental. I‘d sort of quite like it if this album didn’t really have any instrumentals tbh but I think I’m going to be disappointed in that regard. From what we know, realistically only Happy People, Hoping For ...

Re: PSB promo posters
I have the limited edition signed Super print framed at home but I can’t imagine it’s worth THAT much. In fact, I imagine at least half of them went to people on this forum. I have this also. The one I REALLY want is the shot of the Being Boring video cast ... The one box of stuff I got rid ...

Re: 3rd single "Monkey Business" (Jan 2020)
Greetings, Don't worry... nothing was stolen, only given. That said, I've PMed forum staff about it. If they have any concerns, they can let me know, or edit my posts as required. Retro. :) Stolen / leaked... Surely it’s been published here without the copyright holder’s permission though? You can ...

Re: 3rd single "Monkey Business" (Jan 2020)
Greetings palpatine, I won't be giving the source, both out of respect for the source, and because I'm hoping that the same source might also be able provide a track-by-track rundown of the new album in the near future, which (pending their OK) I'll also be happy to share. If forum staff are concer...

I’d happily have a nice long Bernard Butler solo.Sandy Shaw wrote:I'm wondering whether the album version will just have a longer intro and/or outro and no additional lyrics at all!

They call out that the Agenda CD was released with Annually but fail to imagine the same for Burning The Heather.daveid wrote:Here's Super Deluxe Edition's pounds shillings and pence worth on the new single and its lack of CD.

Re: Burning the heather
I'm talking about what most fans consider PROPER singles. In hindsight Integral is now considered a single but at the time it wasn't really thought of as a proper one for obvious reasons. Happiness I do not remember that Happiness was released or considered as a single. Do you have some details? It...

Re: Burning the heather
Building on Niall's "David Lytton" theory, I'd recommend anyone interested in this reading of the song to watch the Channel 4 documentary Mystery Of The Man On The Moor, which is still available on All 4. The song reads completely as though it's David, the man found dead by poisoning on Saddleworth...

Re: Burning the heather
Verse three: "I set out in the dark..." is a quite straightforward description of what happened once he left the pub. But in the song he does not leave the pub, nor at least while singing those lines. I would say he does. The final verse would be him still addressing his former girlfriend, rather t...

Re: The New Album Info Thread
All of that makes me think that a significant portion of the album was already written and more or less ready to release in 2015-2017. I gradually begin to suspect that the second album is somewhere around the corner, maybe produced by Boys themselves. I wouldn't be suprise if something will see th...
