Re: Deleting Account
Been thinking about it for a while. I'm too honest and forthright for my own good and I think forums are not a good place for me to be. I reveal too much. That's fine in everyday life but not online. There are some really great people here and I appreciate all your kindness and sharing down through ...

Re: Deleting Account
Thanks Stefan. So you just ask an admin? Are you an admin?TheGardner wrote: ↑Sat 29 Jul 2017, 8:17 pm from what I know, an account can be deleted. All the posts done by a user still remain here, but maybe the posts become a status they were done by a unknown user.

Re: Pet Shop Boys Scrapbooks - new Facebook page
The name of the Scrapbooks page has changed to Pet Shop Boys Eire and my friend John McFadden is now also an admin.
I'll be stepping back from it quite a bit. Thanks all for your support with it. Especially Patrick Bateman.

Re: Deleting Account
It's pretty bad that there isn't a way to delete your account, in fairness. Has this situation changed in the meantime?

Re: PSB and autism
I diagnosed nobody. I opened a discussion on whether it was possible/likely considering their comment about it. I had suspected for years that they might have it. And either way, it doesn't matter. Would be nice for ASD fans and to break down the stigma around autism. Nobody except themselves knows ...

Re: PSB and autism
The possibility that Neil and Chris are on the spectrum gives hopes to families of high functioning kids like mine. Hope for their future outcomes. Don't dismiss it out of hand just because you don't like the idea of it or are ignorant enough about ASD to think it's not possible. I wonder if what Ne...

Re: PSB and autism
Unless you know Neil and Chris on an intimate and personal level, you can't say that they don't have autism. You started an entire thread not knowing them. Their comment was off the cuff. And you know that how? It really isn't something you'd just say without having thought about it. And if this th...

Re: PSB and autism
My son who is high functioning ASD is socially aware and to meet him, you would never guess he has autism. Many people with autism, especially girls, are wonderful at masking their symptoms. A lifetime of trying hard to fit in has taught them this. My daughter is on the spectrum too but she masks so...

Re: PSB and autism
I've been a die hard fan since I was 8 or 10. I was very shy and introvert and related to songs like Left To My Own Devices and Can You Forgive Her. Two years ago my 2 year old son was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Since then I've been reading and consuming as much as I can on the subjec...

Re: PSB and autism
My kids' faces lit up yesterday when I told them what Neil had said. Funny that in an interview where they said they don't like giving away personal information, they reveal something so fundamental to their characters. Something, it seems, that quite a few of us already knew. Editing this to verify...

Re: Chris and his Monitor
I've heard Neil make mistakes mixing up lyrics and missing cues so I have no doubt he sings live.

Re: PSB and autism
Many people are autistic without knowing it, they are high functioning. It was only when my child was diagnosed that I started reading about it and recognised a lot of the signs in myself. I can spot it pretty easily now. Yes, social interactions can be difficult for people who have autism. Not unde...

PSB and autism
From their new interview in The Times. https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/pet-shop-boys-modern-pop-stars-have-to-talk-about-their-love-lives-but-we-dont-wd8tg7pqq "I think we’re both a bit autistic" - OMG, I've been saying this about them for years!! It's likely what gives them their geniu...

Re: No Photos again !!!!
Do you mean his long blonde hair phase? Pretty sure that was his own hair. He always said he wanted to dye his hair blonde.

Re: No Photos again !!!!
I've always admired how they aged gracefully and didn't resort to hair plugs and plastic surgery. So many fakes in this world, it's nice to have some famous people not afraid to be real.
