Re: Oddest previous choices for a single

I'm not scared is a great track, not sure how they could have cut it down at the time, had they tried and come up with something like the Electric tour, it would have been a great single

How cool would it be to sell the opera glasses with the handle, except they have very Chris stripey lenses?

Rent is a great song, but I agree, almost anything on Actually could have been a bigger hit.

Re: SUPER in at no.3

I guess at this point, normally things wouldn't change much as there are only a couple of workdays left, but PSB are obviously front loaded far more than the other acts around them, so we'll see, but it's probably just enough of a gap to hold.

I think it's a non-issue, has always been the case. Age isn't a "special status", we all have an age, and we all get old.

Re: Oddest previous choices for a single

Numb was certainly a divider on the forum as I remember. maybe if they wanted it as a single they should have put it on Pop Art as they previously planned.

Oddest previous choices for a single

As we're all talking about singles, and what should be the next one, what do you guys consider to be the oddest releases in their history.

I'll start the ball rolling with "To Step Aside", released in the US ... what on earth did anyone think that was going to achieve?

The first album had a 12" of the Tangerine Dream track, so there is a possibility of a release

Re: "Super" produced by Stuart Price but programmed by PSB

I remember when Mike Oldfield described Trevor Horn as a judge in a courtroom giving a thumbs up or down, wheras Stuart I am sure is more involved in the arrangement as well as production

most of the standalone mixes on Disco 2 I don't like, but mixed together as they are I have to say it kinda works (ducks the flying tomatoes)

Re: Not impressed by some of your comments

I've seen a lot of vitriol on this forum, but only ever aimed at works certain people don't care for ... never felt that there was any ill feeling personally ... it's only pop music! :D
