Great, although Positive role model is an excellent PSB song, it indeed was not the ideal closing song for the musical (that was what I thought when I saw the original one in 2001).
I love Positive role model and will insist on singing it loudly after the end of one of the performances!

Re: The musical that just won't die ;)

Attended the first preview - despite some technical issues it was great fun and the plotting seems clearer. <Mile End lee gets his version of Something Special when he's modelling for Billie Trix. Great to bump into fellow Petheads at Above the Stag!

Re: West End Girls - Their New Single

I clicked this thinking West End Girls were making new music.

By the way the Sex over the Phone advertisement was probably to promote the Village People....

Re: Where is the oddest public place you've heard a PSB song?

A summer night of 2017, at a gas station close to my house. There were 2 food trucks on the opposite side of each other, one doing pasta, one doing panini. I was sitting eating by the pasta one and Go west started playing. A few second later the panini one started playing Suburbia. All the situatio...

Luna Park, on a plane, (several times before a Virgin Atlantic flight). This was repeated on the way home too.

That deserves a lol but the Boys were featured in Smash Hits as artists too! Yes, but he took it pre Pet Shop Boys days. He saw his name on the review pages So there was som...

This just get's more camp... https://fabersocial.co.uk/2018/11/29/left-to-my-own-devices-a-letterpress-print-for-one-hundred-lyrics-and-a-poem/ Yes! Neil ''spent time at the printer''. That’s not the poem though
It's the special thingy enclosed by Faber and Faber after mistakenly advertising limited edition copies through their own site.

Re: Neil Tennant announces new book

Received my offering from Faber and Faber. The corner of my book is slightly bent due to posting in a poly bag bubble wrap thing. The same postcard was included (let's face it it's a postcard - it may be an artisan postcard hand knitted by Neil, but how can we ever really know!?)
