PopArt, you missed out the Concrete album which although only a live recording CD was still different to anything previously released.

If they released Nightlife FL would it be in the same format as the other FL releases? New sleeve notes, re-mastered, new packaging etc? That's probably why its not been released so far.

But can you see a phantom?

My own addition to the PSB texts is that I went to the Tate Britain today and saw Neil's name in the Turner exhibition and the PSB's name in the Tate 2000 board as always.

If its as successful as the rest of the pre-recorded Mini-Disc releases, probably 2.

It's amazing to look back and think that originally Sony didn't want Mini-Disc to be a re-recordable format and solely for the pre-recorded media!

For me the Perf tour is a good showcase of the "old PSB", how they were at the buzz of theirs 80s pop success, before the reality of the competitive 90s and art-world led 00s came.

Previous conventions I've been to were held at Aston University, central and quite cheap to hire on a Sunday.

Do you think they were releasing the track, or just giving away something which would have cost them more money to make into a commercially releasable product?

Indeed, that's why I asked, its also why Prince gave away free his new album with a UK newspaper as he knew he'd make more money from people wanting to see him in concert performing the songs. It's also why I suspect the PSB are keen to keep performing shows, they have a performance which people are...

Here's a quick question, which makes them the most money, some full length live performances or a CD single? I wouldn't be surprised if they've made more money from the tour than the album.

London Calling

Hello I am 29, male, called Gavin and have lived in London for the last 9 months, prior to that I lived out in Gloucestershire. My only PSB concert so far is Hammersmith this June but I have a ticket for Potemkin in January. Outside of the PSB, I work in sales for a business IT services company, enj...

Here's a question for you....

Are the text updates a "A day in the life of PSB", or Neil's personal blog?

At least 6 more Fundamental performances before the autumn
Two collaborations or remixes

And at the end of the year a hint that the new album is going to be a dramatic change to how they sound at the moment.
