Re: 2015 What will it bring?.

Looking back in the calendar, the last Pandamonium tour concert was August 2012, the Electronic Beats launch show for Elysium was September 2012, the first Electric concert was March 2013 and Electric was released July 2013. My guess is the next noteworthy release will be the next album late spring ...

Re: This year's Christmas releases

They can't justify the cost even if they can afford it. Producing a DVD will cost £10,000s and the market for it will be tiny as they've allowed YouTube to be filled with commercially film HD concert videos as part of the tour's promotion.

Re: This year's Christmas releases

Well we all know that an Electric Blu-ray or DVD is never going to happen, in fact I think all of the Electric era releases are done now.

Must be time for a new digital bundle/EP.

I think there's "good years" still ahead of them, I mean the last couple have been amazing, but best?!

This year's Christmas releases

Normally, there's always something released by PSB around Christmas time: a DVD, book, single, or EP.
And, it's been a while since we had something new released - was the Record Store Day 12" the last new product?

Any suggestions for this year?

Re: Disco 5 thoughts

I'm wondering if the Disco series has been put to bed? That'll either turn out to be true or proven wrong by the imminent release of the next one.

Re: "Electric Tour": 104 concerts and more than 40 countries

I think the Internet and a heavy touring schedule in the last few years has paid off with this tour? What's good is that they're the headline act at every festival they've played at too.

Re: New album with Stuart Price starting in November

This last tour was for 2 albums, rather than just the last release - a model for the future?

Re: New album with Stuart Price starting in November

You could also include the Brits medley, he's DJ'd at concerts, and given he's married to their manager and his London studio is fairly close to Neil I'm sure there are many un-credited bits we'll never really know about.

Re: Go west unreleased mixes

Didn't PopJustice once tweet that they'd found an un-released 29 minute mix somewhere?

Tiny "Very" display in London Design Museum

The London Design Museum has an exhibition on at the moment about Time Machines by Daniel Weil's and and in it is a display about his work on the Very album cases. It's a very nicely "boxed" display with the two cases and some of his background drawings in. There's also mention of it in the takeaway...

Re: New album with Stuart Price starting in November

We always knew it was a 3 album arrangement with Stuart....I can't believe this is still a surprise? I think we can safely say the next album won't be like Electric - they've never repeated themselves and hasn't every album always been a reaction to the previous etc? My guess is modern and electroni...

Re: How Much Do They Get Paid?

Whether it's paying for the actual tickets and hotel bills, or PSB factor it into a performance fee, the promoter will pay for them to be in "the area".

Re: ELECTRIC - THE FIRST OF A TRIOLOGY

Twilight career zone, it's all cash in the bank now, time to not worry about being an 80s group too much more?
After all, with Neil's apartment so close to the Berghain who wouldn't want to get involved in proper techno?

Re: How Much Do They Get Paid?

Thanks Geowayne for agreeing! Most of their finances are public information in the UK, so you can estimate what they earn per tour. But for those who forget how expensive this is - let's assume a crew of 30. That's 30 flights to a far away land ($1000 each), a minimum of 15 hotel rooms ($100 per nig...
