Yup. I've said it before and I'll say it again: Disco 2 is the style that all PSB remix albums should have.

I find it hilarious and so un-PSBish!
I haven't bothered to seek out the full 12 minute plus version. The six minutes or so of it on Disco 2 is more than enough for me.

Re: New dance album....?
Well, I'm almost four full years into PSB love, but I still insist that Disco 2 is the perfect style for a remix album. So sue me.

Re: Further Listening
I lucked out with finding a new Behaviour FL three years ago, followed by getting 4 of the others used in perfect condition, and then buying a nice copy of Please FL through eBay. Less than $100 for the six of them. What with Format available now, I hope any future FL editions will focus on choice r...

Re: New dance album....?
Maybe I'm the only one, but I would like another Basement Jaxx-styled Disco 2 - this time with all new material. Or maybe a Disco 2/3 hybird with a mix of Elysium-era remixes and all new songs, but still in that continuous D2 style.

Re: Mugged with a smile
Has anyone else ever bought vinyl when they don't even have equipment to play it? When I moved to a new place two years ago, I brought my turntable and stereo system with tapedeck with me, but not the speakers. Because of both my laziness and my infrequent playing of vinyl I still don't have any am...

Re: Mugged with a smile
I'm on the "money well spent" side of the debate when it comes to PSB. 8) I like how you include "something nice to look at." Pet Shop Boys albums and singles are so nicely designed that sometimes I actually will just look through my collection without even playing any of the dis...

Re: Single most ecstatic moment in PSB catalogue
Ecstatic highlights per album: Please - Opportunities reprise suddenly ending going right into the opening of Tonight is Forever Actually - Practically every second of It's a Sin. Introspective - The rhythm of I Want a Dog starting even before Left to My Own Devices has completely ended. Not an &quo...

Re: Leaving Video
So...not another zany and wacky video as I had hoped. It contains very nice photography, but there's not enough visual interest in it to keep me coming back for more viewings. It's rather like the "It's Alright" vid - very good b&w cinematography, decent enough concept, yet look...

Re: 5 favorite/least favorite PSB videos
Thank you for the responses. I wonder if I'm the only one who likes the A Red Letter Day vid. Even Neil and Chris are unimpressed with it in their commentary on the PopArt DVD. Maybe because I like to look at faces I find it to be an enjoyable video. It can be seen as pretentious, yes. But I see it ...

Re: Leaving Video
This wouldn't be appropriate for Leaving, but I long for the return of the "nutty" and crazy energy PSB videos. Examples would include Flamboyant, NY City Boy, Ab Fab, I Wouldn't Normally.. and Heart.
