Re: New Album!

Let’s hope he does a better job than with Depeche mode - or any of the other songs he produced. Have some trepidation about this as his production style is cluttered and renders everything tuneless. But tell us how you REALLY feel! In my opinion, they chose perfectly, and I wanted this collaboratio...

I co-sign this! My #1 choice too.

I think digital is a must, everything else will find its buyer, I'm sure.

Re: Reissues wish list

So, expensive and impractical? That was never their ethos, I fear. Yes, we get the occasional Vinyl Factory obscenity, but there's always been a more democratic, fan-friendly variant. I'll have that one, thanks!

I guess people still don't understand what Record Store Day is, it seems. The point being NO LISTINGS. They usually come a day or a week later with leftover stock.

Yep, seemed truly live to these ears. Of course there's some faint vocals in the background, but you can clearly hear a lot of imperfections. Not to mention the fact he effortlessly slides between talking to the audience and singing, which is where you can usually notice miming the most.

Re: Unity Tour Spoilers & Reviews

I'm with you, NotInvisible. People who didn't spoil themselves to death probably go out a lot happier than folk who learned that this is the truncated setlist which half of Europe got anyway. Even if they didn't bother doing anything brand new, it's a great show already. People expecting them to cha...

Re: Chris Heath's Discovery tour book

Why, exactly? I've just said, if you're going to make statements like these, better brings out the guns. Dog actually did a great thing by providing at least some proof of what's being said, but still, "habitual cocaine user"? Seems far from it. Even if I am a "bad fan" for not r...

Re: Chris Heath's Discovery tour book

Yeah, I didn't know that was a pre-requisite to being a big fan of their work or that it gives a carte blanche to their fans to do the same. I do own a signed copy of "Literally", but it describes events from before I was born, you can imagine the references being a bit lost on me.

Re: Chris Heath's Discovery tour book

I like your take, jasonjohn. We all know what's going on in Berghain, but I'm not going to assume they're into p*ssplay and orgies just because that also happens there. I'm a dance music enthusiast who doesn't even go to clubs, but based on stereotypes, I should be always high on ecstasy. How easy i...

Re: Chris Heath's Discovery tour book

Well, they should sue your asses. I'm not here for tabloid fantasies, and you should consider how you'd feel if someone was assuming you were a drug addict or unprofessional with subordinates just because of what you do or some vague rumors. Brett mentions one instance of drug use in the book, and t...
