Exactly what I'm saying -- TB2 was the only album anyone was willing to promote. Then after some half-arsed effort for "Songs of the Distant Earth" Oldfield promptly floated back into obscurity, because labels just weren't interested in whatever he had to deliver, including TB3.

Before I forget it - retrofutirist PM'ed me in advance with an ill-advised vote for Fugitive!
After a tie called for an extension, in the end The Sodom And Gomorrah Show got booted with 21 votes, just one vote ahead of Luna Park, which had been in the lead by as many as 5 votes at one point. A very close round indeed.
I suspect that the next round won't be anywhere near as close. 4 to go -...

Whenever you read anything in the music press about worldwide record sales, they are usually pulling a number out of their arse .. or their agents arse .... theyre usually inflated to almost double.
An example, Tubular Bells ... everytime I see stats in the press for this they quote something...

He´s mentioned on issue 31, page 53. He had to be led away by security when shouting happily because Neil told him they´d perform at Hogmanay.

Excellent night at the BBC. Can't remember the full setlist, but it started with Being Boring, had Kings Cross in the middle (!) and finished with It's A Sin.

Alright, I'm closing this already. No point in dragging it on when Casanova In Hell (my favourite track on Fundamental, BTW) is leading by 11 votes.
The closest round yet, finally saw I'm With Stupid leave after having been runner-up several times. Stupid got 16 votes, which was just ONE more than I Made My Excuses And Left.

A classic. Sequencers set to 'magic'. What I've always liked about it was the high-timbre hi-hat/tambourine that you hear throughout on the downbeat or whatever it's called. Subtle, yet rhythmically powerful and ingenious.
In a spectacular round that saw I'm With Stupid, Bright Young Things, Indefinite Leave To Remain and Psychological locked in a virtual tie for a long time, Psychological edged out the competition, by the smallest of margins. Will the next round see another epic battle? Start the voting!

I don't know if it's true but if an album is stayed only four weeks in top100 it's hard that it had done better than 60000 copies.
Round seven started off as a close contest between Twentieth Century and I'm With Stupid, but in the end Twentieth Century was just too weak for the rest of the field and got booted with a substantial 7 vote lead over Stupid.
