I got my copy of the album today in Dublin and I think I kniow what you mean. The base sounds slightly muddy, fuzzy and soft throughout. It doesn't sound sharp enough.

Still very much enjoying the album though.

Ya, it was much more energetic when they played at the Warehouse in 1999... no seats, club atmosphere, everyone dancing around from the very beginning... it was a smaller venue but there was definitely more energy. Plus we were all younger then and could bounce around more lol!

My wife had some work event planned for Friday, that was organised long befroe the talk of a PSB concert, so my and my daugter just played their albums and danced about the house like a pair...

I have just found a part of " Left to my own devices " that i have not heard before, after all this time. When Neil sings "say goodbye...If i try....Left to my own devices i probably would", there are female backing vocals repeating the same lines.

Introspective is the PSB's Dark Side of the Moon sleeve. It stands out very well against all the other "faces" on the record shelf. Another idea they nicked off New Order :).
Personally I really like What Have I Done to Deserve this sleeve along with the Very/Relentless and I wouldn't normally do this kind of thing's.. rubber CD...

There is some cover which shows them both simply sitting there. It was on a US website so I assumed it was a US release.

Order the Canadian one. It will play just fine for you.
