I'm in! Booked my ticket already and there's a cheap Travel Inn just opposite the venue. £50 a day seems OK to me. They ask about dietary requirements so I guess food is included too. Some really interesting speakers and subjects covered. I think there are about 40 places left.

I would LOVE to have gone to this and would've booked up like a shot, but being Easter weekend makes it impossible - rather odd timing :grumble:

An English friend of mine retired from London and has bought a flat in Edinburgh so luckily I have somewhere to stay. It's just a case of booking transport now...

I am writing a new blog on how the PSB made my life. I'll post in on the forum soon. It seems the right time to do it.

"What is Symposium?"
( Well you did feed me the line).

For those who don't know, it's an academic conference with key note speakers presenting papers on PSB. We are also promised some "Domino Dancing". It will be like a student bop I would imagine.

I'm indeed going (and delivering a paper for those of you unlucky enough to be in the room on Friday morning).
I must disengage your recreational music.

More information about this is now online, I'm really looking forward to it. Some really interesting subjects and a great opportunity to meet fellow Pet Heads. http://www.eca.ed.ac.uk/school-of-desig ... -symposium
