THIS IS BRILLIANT! Greatest PSB moment in years, and the best PSB cover/derivative ever, imho.

they MUST do their own version of this.

I agree, the old rasta guy singing PSB is funny.

But the video, erm, a bit stupid. The version is ok, nothing on the original though. Just MO.
And tryin' to figure out what happened to 'Germaine Propaine'
"He couldn't have fell off that hard" Ain't no way
"What happened to the way you was rappin' when you was scandalous
That Canibus turned into a television evangelist"
Plus he raps with his regular voice [BOOSH! BOOSH!]
[BOOSH! BOOSH!] (What was that?) Pet Shop Boys

The video makes it. having been to Havana i just love the imagery and the people. It IS a party place despite it's relative poverty.

I like this!! Very respectful to Paninaro `95, and they kept Neil`s voice on it, great! And I appreciate much the fact that the Russian singer chose to sing in his own language. I`m tired of Eastern European singers ruining otherwise good dance tracks with their bad accent in English...
Excellent promotion for PSB, isn`t it?
I`d like to know what the Russian lyrics mean - I heard "Mayakovski" at some point, if I`m not wrong.

It's always nice to see PSB references / people making tributes to the Boys, and this one is quite okay, I think. Also reminds me a little of "Domino Dancing" and "Together" (in terms of the video). I prefer the original 1986 version though.

"I never liked fitting in, and I think that’s the thing with Pet Shop Boys; we’ve never totally fitted in. We’ve tried to do our own thing. We create our own little culture and world and ideas of our own, and part of that comes from not totally fitting in. Having links with lots of things, having a very broad attitude and different interests, I think that’s what we all need." (Neil Tennant, 2009)

Paninaro really deserves a new version once more.

The bass of Paninaro '95 is kick-ass!

The best bass lines of all PSB songs are West End Girls and Paninaro.
