Thematically, the only song anything like it is Ego Music, I suppose... but that song is already an exception to the thematic arc of the album.
Doesn't Ego Music fit in with the 'looking back' nature of the album by being an observation on current pop stars and the music scene and, although not directly, hinting at how things are different now and how PSB are not a part of it (a la Invisible) One little thing I love in Ego Music is Neil's singing of 'Street..' with the intonation going up at the end in that Australian/American way young whipper snappers seem to have now
Still waiting to hear the Adam Freeland, Manhattan Clique and Axwell mixes of Integral.

You haven't heard it ? ;)

You will understand soon my child. The revelation is just around the corner. From darkness we are compiling light.

Now, where to fit those Leaving mixes and b-sides...

I agree that "A certain je ne sai quo" could fit on the album, I don't know what thematically or sonically it would change, it's already all over the place. And it's a very strong (and fun) PSB track. I'm not sure if I would put it on there, but of it was it wouldn't be anymore out of place than Ego Music or a face like that.

Fundamental would be more electro (Richard X maybe) and I made my excuses... would be a more conventional pop song, with a shorter intro, choruses and a second verse to finish the story.
Wow, no Luna Park? I'd 90% of the original album before I'd dump LP.
This. If I had read that track listing while drinking something it'd have resulted in a spit take. Luna Park is the best thing on Fundamental by a landslide.

Why don't we live together? is ace. I'd leave it on and get rid of I want a lover, easily the worst track on Please.

On "Elysium" I have dropped "Ego Music", "Hold On" and "Face Like That" and included "I Started A Joke" and "A Certain Je Ne Sais Quoi".

On "Fundamental" I have dropped "God Willing" and "Casanova In Hell" and brought in "The Resurrection" and "Girls Don't Cry".

On "Yes" dropped "Legacy" and replaced it with "After The Event".

On "Release" I have dropped "The Samurai In Autumn" and replaced it with "Always"

"Nightlife" I could drop so many tracks but at the same time I couldn't think of a single track to bring in!

On "Bilingual" dropped "Saturday Night Forever" and "Before" and replaced by "Hit And Miss" and "Betrayed".

On "Very" dropped "Young Offender" and replaced by "Shameless"

On "Behaviour" replace the album version of "How Can You Expect To Be Taken Seriously" with I think it was the "Perfect Attitude 7 inch mix", also dropped "My October Symphony" and replaced it with "Bet She's Not Your Girlfriend".

"Introspective" would remain untouched.

On "Actually" dropped "Hit Music" and "Shopping" and replaced with "Do I Have To?" and "A New Life".

On "Please" dropped "Opportunities (Reprise) and "Violence" and replaced them with "Was That What It Was" and "Jack The Lad" and also included "Paninaro".
If you've done nothing wrong, you've got nothing to fear
If you've something to hide, you shouldn't even be here!

VERY

1. Shameless - I pretty much have to start with this track whenever I listen to VERY. It works so well as an album opener. (Maybe because of that goofy-sounding "hello" at the start! :D )
2. Can You Forgive Her?
3. I Wouldn't Normally Do...
4. Liberation
5. A Different Point of View
6. Decadence
7. Yesterday When I Was Mad
8. The Theatre
9. One and One Make Five
10. To Speak is a Sin
11. One in a Million
12. Go West/Postscript

Dreaming of the Queen and Young Offender would be splendid B-sides. Personally, I find the music for both tracks not to work well in the flow of the album.

PLEASE

Side 1 -1. Two Divided by Zero
2. In the Night
3. West End Girls
4. I Want a Lover
5. Suburbia
6. Tonight is Forever
Side 2 - 7. Opportunities (reprise) (but now nicknamed "Opportunities (fake start)" and directly segues into:)
7 (continuation). Opportunities
8. A Man Could Get Arrested
9. Violence
10. Love Comes Quickly
11. Later Tonight
12. That's My Impression

Why Don't We Live Together? (original NY mix) is now a B-side.

I know this messes up the PLEASE "concept storyline," but I'm thinking more of the way the music flows. This is all in fun anyway. 8)

YES

1. All Over the World (would also be the lead single)
2. Beautiful People
3. Building a Wall
4. Vulnerable
5. This Used To Be the Future
6. King of Rome
7. More Than a Dream
8. After the Event
9. The Way It Used to Be
10. Legacy

I don't think many of the albums need changing, with a few exceptions.

Elysium : Obviously the wrong version of Winner is on there, we all agree on that.
Behaviour : If you're going to break the "mood" with So Hard... then include "Bet She's Not Your Girlfriend" and "Miserablism" as well. Or take it off.
Release : No one listens to this straight through, do they? Great songs, but just doesn't work as an album.

My version of an album that Release might have been (not for purists)....

1. Decadence
2. Searching For The Face Of Jesus
3. Give it a Go
4. Numb
5. London (Genuine Piano Mix)
6. Between Two Islands
7. I didn't get where I am today
8. Birthday Boy
9. Breathing space
10. E-Mail
11. Here
12. You Choose

Apologies for mixing up the years/decades.

This non-album has become my favourite thing to listen to at the moment.
