The Eno thing will never happen… they've said before that they really rate him, but for some reason can't work with him.

Jon Hopkins is amazing… but think he should work with some other 'non-electronic' people again.

Tom Angel wrote:I know everyone wants another Stuart Price Album, and great as it was, i would like them to go more electronic (as opposed to dance), closer to the spirit of Fundamental and Elysium. Ulrich Schnauss would do a marvellous job (as evidenced by his amazing mix of Memory of the future), and indeed if this is anything to go by, from his band the Engineers:

Engineers release their fourth album, Always Returning, on 11th August via Kscope. Engineers, who currently comprise Liverpudlian multi-instrumentalist Mark Peters and celebrated German ambient artist/producer Ulrich Schnauss and London based drummer and composer Matthew Linley, have been creating mesmerising music with brilliantly shaded guitar textures and teasing lyrical ambiguities for over ten years across three albums
Judging by "Inner Sactum", it is far better produced (at least to my ears) than anything on "Electric", which I still rate highly, BTW. So I'm not the least bit worried at this point.

It'll be interesting what happens after "the album after Super". I'm guessing the Stuart Price album and concert producer arrangement is tightly tied to the fact his wife is their manager.

They've kept 3 of their previous 4 managers for 5 years. Their current manager has been with them 7 years now.
I wonder if they'll swap producer and manager when "the album after Super" starts getting recorded?
